- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always travel to my client. I ask that they have lots of pictures for inspiration and that they come with dry hair and a clean face.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
"I'm constantly taking courses on all the new makeup trends. Especially when it comes to Bridal Makeup. This year I had the privilege of attending a Bridal Makeup Class with MAC's Senior Artist, Fatima Thomas, who's work is seen on the runway of New York fashion week. In August of 2015 I took a trip to New York to take a Makeup Masterclass with Celebrity Makeup Artist Tamanna Roashan (Also known as "Dress Your Face")
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a church full of young girls having "Quinces" (Sweet 16's) almost every year from the time I was 13yrs old! And they would always love for me to do their hair & makeup. I LOVED doing it so it was just a hobby at the time. Little did I know that was preparing me for my career!
