Jeffrey did an outstanding job painting the interior if my home. I was very impressed. The quality of the work was excellent. I would highly recommend him. He works very fast, pays attention to detail, and went above and beyond my expectations.Jul 25, 2017Verified
Jeff did a super job on a couple interior painting projects for me. When he is back in STL, I will hire him for more work. Secondly, I have referred him for mural work. I saw the finished murals and spoke with the client about the project. Jeff was timely, responsive, on budget, and met / exceeded the expectations of the client.Jun 22, 2015
I could not give a higher recommendation for a painter! Jeff does amazing work at incredible prices, plus he is a warm, professional, and genuine person who is great to work with. You can trust him to be upfront about the cost for any work you need done and know that he'll give you a fair price and will do stellar work. If you need any painting done in your house, you can't do any better than Jeff!Mar 17, 2019Verified
Jeff did a great job prepping, repairing and finally painting my condo. Worked quickly, kept me aware of options, and did a very good job, completing it in 4.5 days. Would highly recommend him for any painting project.Feb 8, 2019Verified
Mr Miller did a great job with my living room. He was early, finished the job promptly, and was fair with pricing. Will hire again for all painting needs.Jun 27, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? This is a field where you definitely get what you pay for. I see clients who hire me and tell me that the thought they were getting a good deal when a painter low balled the job... but then realized the reason it was cheap was because they got paint on everything but the walls. Conversely, taking out a second mortgage on your home and paying an arm and a leg for a painter doesn't mean they'll do excellent work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Communicating needs and expectations is crucial. There is only so far filling out a form can get you. I need to hear you and ideally see the project in person so we can have a true understanding in order to be of quality service. For me, it's all about the relationship. Each relationship dictates a different process. I work organically. Each project is a puzzle and the process of painting, the steps involved can be rearranged and edited to suit the needs and preferences of the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Masters degree in Fine art from one of the best schools in the world, Pratt Institute. I've worked for some 20 different artists, which has greatly increased my skill set, my "tool box", and my perspective. I've worked with master woodworkers and cabinet makers, I've done various construction work... so I can understand and apply multiple processes and put that knowledge to work for you, even if I'm just painting a wall or two. I have a better sense of what it takes to get things done, what to expect on a job site, how to work with other professionals (or unprofessionals), and how to deal with the unexpected (and when it comes to homes, the unexpected should always be expected)
