I hired Alyson to represent me for a divorce and child custody case and I am very happy with the result. Alyson guided me through the whole process in a professional manner with a strong attention to detail. We were able to resolve the case through mediation in a short time. There was a mix-up with the original mediator through no fault of hers and Alyson was able to secure another mediator at the last minute and we were still able to resolve our case through mediation even though we started later than expected. I went into mediation with low expectations and Alyson was able to keep the process moving and push for a good result. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

My partner and I hired Kerrie for what we thought was a simple child support case. However, it quickly escalated to a child custody case, a TPO case and even a back child support case. The court system assigned a Guardian Ad Litem and a mediator, which is evidently standard in situations such as mine. I had no idea how complex family law issues could become and how everything could spiral out of control so quickly. We are tremendously grateful we had Kerrie there by our side to guide us through our cases. She took a chaotic situation and fixed it in a way that looked effortless. However we are quite aware how much work it truly took to get all the problems resolved. Kerrie came to our home, took the time to explain everything that was going to happen and all possible outcomes. I am a worrier but even Kerrie managed to put my mind at ease. She makes herself available at all hours and on weekends too. Kerrie is an attorney who truly cares about her clients and I am recommending her to all of my family and friends who need a lawyer!!!

I was hired in October 2012 to do work on a mobile app for Adelyte. The arrangement was $2500.00 for 100 hours of work in addition to receiving 10% of a new company that the mobile app would be launched under. I was paid for November. I did not ask for any payment for December as the much of the time was spent on research. I was paid for January. I worked 140 hours in February but was never paid the agreed upon $2500. There was a sharp disagreement in how to handle the 10% (at this point only 5%) as an exit as the company was never formed and there is not equity. I'm fine retaining my rights to the project as this was not a "work made for hire", and if any substantial money was ever made from the project, I would pursue my 5% at that time. However, they would rather cut all ties with me, which is fine as well. In order for me to give up any ownership I have in project, I want compensation for my time. Due to this agreement, Adelyte has created all sorts of arguments as to why they cannot or are unwilling to pay the $2500.00. I see them as two separate matters. I performed labor as agreed and sent them an invoice for that time; I expect to paid per our agreement terms. Unfortunately, the CEO of Adelyte was a close personal friend of mine and as such, all of our agreements were via chat or email. Most everything pertinent is documented, but not through a traditional contract. We wish to come to some sort of agreement instead of going to court. In regards to travel, mediation would have to be done via skype as I currently reside out of the country.
