Well I decided to use Pick Up and Go movers for my move. Well the first time went off without a hitch. Guys came in and moved furniture from my home to my storage unit. I was very impressed and gave the guys a generous tip. I needed to move some items again and decided to try them again. This was the move from Hell. The agreed upon time was between 5-7. They called at 6:03 and said they were on the way. I confirmed the address. They said they would be there within the hour. Well they called later and said they were in Covington. I told them I was not in Covington but off 285 like I stated before. Well they arrived after 8:30 and loaded my belongings from the storage unit and headed to my apt. Got to my apartment and unloaded a few items and then told me they needed payment for 3 hours. They told me that they were not gonna unload anything else until I paid for the estimated hours. They needed $275 plus $20 for the shrink wrap. I didn't have change so I went to get change for a hundred dollar bill. When I returned he wanted to explain the policy. Told him I had never heard of a policy where you have to pay before movers unload. This wasn't the procedure for the first move. Never again will I use Jack leg movers that will hijack my furniture and demand payment before they unload. That is what you get for trying to save a few dollars. Oh they completed the move in 2 hours and 10 minutes, but charged me for 3 hours. Do not trust these guys.

Needed to book a company for my move that was coming up. I saw a sign near Austell that had pretty reasonable rates. I called and inquired about the date and times available. I set up a time and date. On the day of the move, I had everything ready and was waiting for the movers to get there. Well my apt time was between 1-3 and they called around 4:45 to say they were running late and would at my location shortly. They arrived around 6:00 and both guys smelled like they had recently smoked some marijuana. This should have been the 1st sign to cancel the move and contact someone else. Next they start loading the truck and drop one of my antique lamps. They told me to contact company on Monday and file a claim for the broken lamp. So they continue to load and I noticed that one of the movers keeps following me. So eventually he is in the same room as me and starts asking inappropriate question. This has me feeling kind of uneasy and I call a male relative to come over until they finish the move. So the relative comes over and he walks in while the guy is making another pass at me. He tells the guys to hurry up and finish the move and to stop asking me anything. Well now they say that they need full payment before taking truckload to destination. Told him I would pay him with cc once move is complete. They refuse to complete move until I pay. They charge me for 4 hours and move only took 3 hours. They refuse to refund my money. So they arrive late, smelling like marijuana, break a antique lamp, make sexual advances, overcharge me and then refuse to give a refund. Please do not use this company. I contacted company and requested money for broken $300 lamp and they send me $30.

Horrible, Horrible, non professional, low class movers, this company has nice website, pretty purple trucks, but I am a Georgia Realtor and I can say this company is the worst I have every seen.In my 20 years as a REALTOR DO NOT USE THEM they told me Visa/ Mastercard on the phone got to my home wanted cash, when I did not have the cash on me they toke my things off the truck and left. They came 5 Hours LATE and did this the banks where close . NON caring All Realtor PLEASE save your Clients from these GUYS

simply put they SUCK! Do not book or use them you will regret it! I booked them they never showed up. I kept calling and they kept saying they were running late in the end they never EVER showed up!

Customer service for this company is absolutely horrible. They are very rude and have no respect for their clientele. They were over 3 hours late arriving to my home and when asked if there would be any type of compensation for their tardiness, the representives and movers proceeded to become very unruly. I will not be asking them for services again nor will I recommend anyone.

The worst thing that can happen during your move is to end up with extra fees added to your invoice at the end of your move. Also, make sure to hire a professional moving company that is licensed, insured and bonded.
