- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One hour lessons are $35.00. One half hour lessons are $25.00 that must be approved during the first lesson. (Approval comes when the student is not or no longer a beginner and proves that a half hour is sufficient in their learning goal.) Group lessons at ($25.00 per student) are arranged when a family or group comes to me at one time to start a group lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Parent accompanies the student(s) for introductions, receive and understand the rules and regulations expected of the student and instructor, find the best books that suits the student, review music knowledge of the student to establish the beginning point, goals and evaluation of first session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate from Fort Valley State in Music Education, K-12. I have been an active participant in the Metropolitan Atlanta Community Band since 1992 as one of the percussionist where music styles and reading music is challenging that enhances my education and skills as a musician.
