FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system really isnt complicated at all. I work on a per hour rate or by the project. The per hour rate is just that, for every hour I put in on the project the client is charged the hourly rate. This includes things like research and conferences. Now on the other hand, the pricing per project includes everything and there will not be any extra charges unless there are major revisions. Both pricing systems include up to three minor changes in the work. A couple of color changes are no problem either.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I most certainly do have continuing education in my overall program. The university that I obtained my BS in Graphic Design has a program for alumni. When there is a change in any course that I took I am able to retake that course free. I am also working on my certification from Adobe for their various programs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started out running on offset printing press and the other various jobs associated with that. The company owner saw I had an interest in the design aspect of it so he took me in under his wing to show me the ropes. I cut my teeth doing odd design jobs for him. Then he found out that I had a talent for the work and he got really serious showing me the different things to do and how to do them. As it turned out, I really dont consider myself working when I do because I love the work so much.
