Don't let Tara's beauty and youth fool you, Tara definitely knows her stuff! She is well-rounded and able to help in not just one area, like voice. She has helped my child tremendously improve her piano and acting. I feel she has helped my child know so many secrets of how to do things better and with professionalism. She is kind, patient, loving, and encouraging, a quality you don't find in many teachers. She has instilled confidence in my child and allows my daughter to work within her talents and encourages her to do those things she likes (picking her own music choice for piano, for example), while still helping my child learn the basics and the theory necessary to keep growing in her skill. I recommend her highly if your child wants to learn and grown in acting, piano, composition, or voice.

Tara Simon is an INCREDIBLE teacher! She really knows her stuff! My daughter has grown by leaps and bounds under her guidance. Tara targets her every weakness and gives her the tools she needs to improve, yet does so in such a positive, encouraging way! In just a year and a half, I have seen a dramatic improvement in my daughter's tone, range, flexibility, vibrato, musicality, stage presence, and much more! I love the way that Tara teaches Broadway, pop, and classical singing. She follows my daughter's lead on where she wants to go with her singing, and takes her there! Tara also helps my daughter find professional theatre, singing, and other opportunities. Through Tara's guidance, she landed a principal role in a professional production! Tara also helped us navigate the waters of professional theatre and gave us insider tips on how to stand out at the audition, whether being a part of a union was advantageous, and much more. My daughter couldn't have landed the role without her help! I am also impressed with the showcases throughout the year. All of the students perform with such poise and confidence, because Tara and the other instructors teach them so much about stage presence, holding a mic properly, and so much more. They are really enjoyable, and it's exciting to see how rapidly the students grow over the course of a few months! I highly, highly recommend Tara Simon Studios!

Tara and Tara Simon Studios is FABULOUS! Tara has vision and drive for her students that compels them to reach for their dreams. It's an amazing gift that she has, and I'm delighted that she is part of our lives. My son has taken voice, piano, and acting lesson from Tara for the last two years. She has taught him how to perform like a professional! His singing voice has improved and strengthened beyond what I could have ever imagined. In the last year, Tara has coached and prepared him for leading male roles in two different musical productions. I'm excited to see what his future holds! It was a lot of hard work for each student, but Tara was behind each of them... giving them the knowledge, strength, and confidence so that they could give 100%. Also, the work that Tara Simon Studios did to make the Showcase a professional experience made the event special for all of us. It was not like any "recital" that I have been to in the past!! I could go on, but you have to meet Tara and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

If February of 2014 my daughter auditioned for The Voice. She made it through the first round of auditions, 10,500 people. Although she did not make it through the second round she was told she had talent and to keep working hard. We came home and we decided she needed a stronger vocal coach. I started doing my own research. What impressed me most about TSS is that Tara called me back personally and talked to me about her program and how she teaches. She spent 45 minutes talking to me on the phone. It was also impressive that she still is actively working and brings students along to participate in her personal shows. We are very happy and look forward to our daughter reaching new levels with a wonderful vocal coach!! Thank you TSS!

I wish they realized that I am a specialty coach, not a miracle worker. Its like being a chef. In order to make a great meal, you must first have good ingredients.
