- What types of customers have you worked with?
The biggest thing that most clients ask me to do is to install WordPress. I have a lot of clients that are graphics designers that hate to do the backend stuff like installing software, plugins, creating FTP accounts, setting up client E-mails, adding security or setting up payment processing. The other big thing that I do for internet marketers is configure their Auto-Responder or E-mail/Newsletter services. I customize it according to the designs already on their website, create lists, set up broadcast messages and integrate it with 3rd party applications that they use to promote their businesses.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Communication is important. It is best to avoid assuming that the provider knows exactly what you are asking. Ask them to repeat it back and if possible provide examples. This will help to make sure that you are all on the same page.
