Introduction: Charlotte Rada Graft is a graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Bloomington, Indiana. Ms. Graft began studying piano at the age of four, accompanying choirs at 9 years old, working as a ballet accompanist at 15, and has been a freelance musician since 1994. While at Indiana University, she was the pupil of Luba Edlina-Dubinsky and Dr. Peter Henderson. In addition to solo piano performance studies, she accompanied voice, violin, and cello studios, including those of Alan Bennet, Henryk Kowalski, and Emilio Colon. After graduating with her baccalaureate degree in piano performance and arts administration in 2001, Ms. Graft began teaching private piano lessons and working with the San Antonio Symphony in the offices of Education, Operations, and Development. In 2004 and 2005, she served as an accompanist for student competitions at the Aspen Music Festival. Ms. Graft’s private piano students have earned the highest honors from the Georgia Federation of Music Clubs, the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, the American College of Musicians, and the Music Teachers’ National Association. In 2010, she founded Blooming Tunes, Inc. In 2011, Ms. Graft became a certified music specialist for the Music Together parent-child group music classes and a class facilitator for Itsy Bitsy Yoga baby yoga classes. Currently, she is working with non-profit organizations in Atlanta, Georgia, to bring Music Together and Itsy Bitsy Yoga classes to abused mothers and their children. Ms. Graft loves working with children of all ages and their caregivers. Currently she resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She provides holistic child development through movement and music.
