Alyson was a great advocate and attorney for me! Everything was done efficiently and in a truly professional manner. I would recommend Alyson and her team to anyone!
My partner and I hired Kerrie for what we thought was a simple child support case. However, it quickly escalated to a child custody case, a TPO case and even a back child support case. The court system assigned a Guardian Ad Litem and a mediator, which is evidently standard in situations such as mine. I had no idea how complex family law issues could become and how everything could spiral out of control so quickly. We are tremendously grateful we had Kerrie there by our side to guide us through our cases. She took a chaotic situation and fixed it in a way that looked effortless. However we are quite aware how much work it truly took to get all the problems resolved. Kerrie came to our home, took the time to explain everything that was going to happen and all possible outcomes. I am a worrier but even Kerrie managed to put my mind at ease. She makes herself available at all hours and on weekends too. Kerrie is an attorney who truly cares about her clients and I am recommending her to all of my family and friends who need a lawyer!!!
My marriage was almost over and we were at the point of consulting divorce attorneys until we were introduced to Kyle Bruner. He completely turned our relationship around. He taught us that communication and respect is key. Now we're like teenage lovers again!!! Thank you Kyle for saving my family and keeping our children's parents together!!! Our union is stronger than ever and we owe it all to you!!!
Your priorities and needs are unique. Since I have "been through" the divorce process hundreds of times, I help spouses generate ideas, options and solutions that will work for them. This problem solving often includes setting a time-table of when different things will occur - something that promotes more certainty in an uncertain time - as a family transitions from one unit into two units. I also work with unmarried parents and LGBT couples. For divorcing or unmarried parents, discussions often involve far more than the bare minimum of child support and visitation. The logistics of parenting are far more complex and many predictable issues can be addressed before they arise - the logistics of communication plans, social media concerns, travel, driving privileges, first jobs, dating and college are common issues that many parents discuss in mediation. These are topics that a court will not bring up and ones that can create needless dissension in the future. In short, as a parent of three and a former school teacher, I keep parties focused on the future and solutions in a place where they can "have a moment" but still keep moving forward to a place where they will have far more control over the outcome.

We assist parties to a divorce to resolve their dispute without the need to litigate in open court. Mediation is a confidential negotiation process whereby a mediator acts as a neutral, enabling the parties to identify needs and explore a range of solution to resolve their dispute. The important part about mediation is that the parties retain control over the resolution. Mediation can be useful when emotional issues are involve, like in a divorce.
