After training with Larry for almost 4 months, I can attest to Larry's professional knowledge, enthusiasm, and result-driven attitude. My goal is to tone, and get fitter. To that end, Larry created a custom whole body workout for me. He guides me in working all parts of my body, arms, chest, legs, and even cardio. He pays attention to my forms closely, making sure I get the most out of my workout, and also not get hurt. I'll definitely be training with Larry for the foreseeable future! If you are on the fence about having a personal trainer to help you achieve your fitness goal, you owe it to yourself to at least have a trial session with Larry!
Chaz, from Test the limit Fitness is, in a word, Awesome! He is very professional and dedicated to getting you the results you need. As a nurse, i know how the body works, so i can attest that Chaz knows what he is saying when teaching you the hows & whys of certain exercises. He even works out With you and encourages you every step of the way. Chaz takes your "I can'ts" and turns them into "I did". No cookie cutter workouts here, Chaz takes the time to individualize a plan for you. He will modify a work out to meet your needs. He will even come to you! He was so good, I even had him do workouts with my 3 teenagers. Prepare yourself to be amazed! You can't go wrong with Test the limit Fitness! I met Ashley (and Alex) 7 years ago in my journey to "get fit"....having always been naturally lean and athletic I didn't know the first thing about diet or exercise! I lifted my very first weight with the two of them and was educated beyond measure about eating clean!! At the time my children were very young and had to tag along for my workouts, they were so adorable with the boys and even let them "workout" on some of the fun equipment. Ashley and Alex are two of the most educated, enthusiastic, and nicest people I have ever worked with in the fitness industry. It's quite simple. Working with Delta and Anita at Change Is Now Fitness has turned back the age clock 15 years for me! I am healthier, and have not looked this good since my early 30s!! Delta works with me on strength, balance, agility, and stamina three times a week for 50 minutes. The type of work we do is centric to someone over 40 who might not be as active as they once were, or who might simply be experiencing natural decline due to aging. After each session, I feel reinvigorated. Cardio, yoga, pilates, and weight training are all a part of a VERY unique mix unlike anywhere I have ever trained or with anyone I have ever trained. His methods in training are revolutionary in my opinion. Anita provides Delta support in my training, and she keeps me knowledgeable about nutrition. She provides recipes and information on the best foods needed to make all the fitness training as valuable as possible. She maintains a Facebook blog with articles on the latest research and great recipes for healthy living. Both Anita and Delta provide a holistic Mind-Body-Spirit approach to the services they provide, which maximizes the potential for an excellent healthy lifestyle! I'm very lucky to have found them!
Lamonica has gone above and beyond to assist me in getting healthy. I've worked out with her for years, both in person as part of a group class and through webfit. Her training is tough but you see results. What I love the most is that even though she is tough at times, it is because she is so passionate about women loving their body and being the best "you" you can be. She leads by example and I've personally watched her choose a healthy lifestyle daily and eliminate excuses when it comes to getting her workouts in. And even when she does make a decision to treat herself she knows how to balance it by making the necessary sacrifced in other areas...she lives what she preaches for real! She truly cares and works personally to meet her clients individual goals and helps you tackle the root issues that may keep you from those goals. She's a very giving person and shares food tips or any thing she finds helpful freely with others but also doesn't baby you to not put some effort in on your part. Even though she is my family, she keeps things very professional which causes me not to be slack. She's always on time and holds her clients to high standards. I definitely recommend her to anyone that is serious about being healthy and needing someone to coach them through that process that will stick with them till they get the results they need. It's still a process I'm going through but having her on my side encouraging me and providing the necessary information and tools I need to be successful has been invaluable. I'm not where I need to be yet but with her help and my commitment I know I'll get there one day :-)
Frank has a fun way of incorporating strength training, balance exercises and cardio into a workout that yields results. Yes, I said fun because you never know what to expect. The routine changes, but the areas you want him to focus on are still being targeted, so you're never bored. At the end of the workout, you remember all of the positive words of encouragement and the nutrition tips he gave you along the way. You feel energized! You leave the gym feeling like you had a great time! The day after, is when you actually feel the intensity of the workout and remember each and every lift, squat or pull and the reason why you can't walk down the stairs without holding on to the rail for dear life. You feel the pain! And a couple of weeks later is when you spend quality time with the bathroom mirror, smiling and admiring the results and looking forward to your next session. What I value the most is Frank's ability to create a program that aligns with my goals and gets me the results I want. Not only is he knowledgeable when it comes to finding the right balance of proper nutrition and effective training, but his strong passion for helping others places him above the rest. He also offers his videos and recipes on his blog, so others can benefit and he has no problem sending tips to my friends out of state. He responds to my texts/emails immediately and makes me feel like priority number 1 and it's the same in person. At the gym, I have Frank's undivided attention, he values my time and he makes every minute count.
I am truly going to miss working out with Brian. He is an excellent trainer and motivator. Workouts always different and on point. I will be looking for you when I visit Atlanta. Save a spot for me.
I have know Ms. Abdul-Jabbaar for almost twenty years. She has always made healthy lifestyle choices a priority. Since February of 2016, Stephen has helped me build my stamina, lose inches in key areas, and increase muscle tone. His workouts never get boring and offer versatility such as boxing, circuit training, weights, cardio and plyometric exercises. He is very knowledgeable in how the overall training impacts different parts of the body and I saw results within the first 4 weeks! He has pushed me outside of my limits to do things that I did not realize that I could do and has made me more confident in navigating equipment in the gym when working out on my own.
