I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to listen to Duane speak to 70 of my wife's Upward Bound students. Not only was I impressed, I was truly astonished. Never in a million years would I except someone could hold a group of 70 teenagers attention for 3.5 hours, but Duane did just that. Initially he was only suppose to speak from 6pm-7pm, but the students were so tuned in and excited about what he had to say, once they began asking questions 7pm turned into 8pm and eventually someone had to step in and say "Ok, last question". Had they not done so, I am confident Duane and the students would have been both perfectly happy continuing the Q&A for another two hours! As if that wasn't enough, Duane then took the time to speak to each student individually and write a sincere personal note inside the cover of their books. Some of them waited in line for over an hour for this, and when it was all said and done it was 9:30pm. Several times the counselors offered to take anyone who didn't want to wait back to their rooms, but no one budged... Everyone wanted there chance to talk to Duane. If you are looking for a speaker who will inspire you to be sensational, then this is your guy. Also, his book "The Sensational Salesman" is hands down one of the greatest books I've ever got hands on. If anyone is interested in improving the quality of your life, in all aspects, not just business, I highly recommend checking it out.

I've had the privilege of being coached by Duane during a couple of different phases of my life. Whether it was playing soccer, improving my business, or developing more meaningful relationships, Duane has ALWAYS provided an amazing amount of value. Today, I'm a better businessman, boss, coach, friend, son, father, and husband, because of the practical coaching that I've received from Duane. His secret is in his ability to actually listen to the heart of your issue. One of his favorite words is, "empathy". He does a wonderful job of living that out every day, but especially during his coaching sessions. Once the issue has been diagnosed, he delivers life changing advice in a way that is incredibly simple to apply. After you apply it, his follow up and after action items are top notch. He truly wants to see you succeed and change whatever circumstances that are in your way of living a Sensational life. To say that I recommend time with Duane is an understatement. This man is as much of a reason for my professional/personal development as any individual on the planet. There are a lot of counselor and coaches out there. Trust me when I tell you there is only one Duane Cummings.

I have known Duane and Kim Cummings for 20 years and my wife has just met them within the last couple of years. Recently we started spending more time with them, not for counseling or relationship advice, but just as friends. What transpired was amazing. They are always positive and look to make everyone around them feel important and special, even to people they've just met. It made us want to do the same, especially for each other and our loved ones. Things have changed since spending time with Duane and Kim. Our whole family lives a more positive lifestyle. We listen and have more open communication with each other. We notice what makes people around us happy and try to mimic those characteristics. We also avidly attempt to avoid the negativity surrounding our daily lives. They helped us with the way we interact positively with each other and our children. Now we take time and enjoy the little moments with each other and let our children explore and embrace their childhood. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not really complicated...I do have a fee schedule, but between myself and my assistant Cindy, we work hard to accommodate those in need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most definitely...I read a book every two days, attend seminars, am engaged in mastermind groups with other leaders in my industry, attending speakers conferences and business roundtables...always learning.
