Introduction: My name is Vince Collier and my passion is to help you bring your creative dreams and visions to life! Whether it's illustrating a cartoon character, rendering the neural pathways through the brain, creating a logo, banner, brochure, catalog, invitation or even restoring an heirloom photo of your Great Great Great Uncle Rufus to it's original glory, I'm here to help with all your creative needs. I am an artist with over 25 years experience helping others grow their dreams and visions into a reality. I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil and that is my first love. I can draw and illustrate in traditional media as well as create artwork digitally. I'm constantly working to improve and learn the best ways to expand my creativity with whatever tools are available. Whether it's pencils, pens, airbrush, Photoshop or the newest illustration and design software, I'm probably geeking out about it. It's what I love to do. I am always looking for the next challenge! I thrive on taking an idea and bringing it to life! Whether it's my own or someone else's, the challenge in finding creative ways to do it is what drives me! I needed some art work based on a very poor slide of "nose art" left over from Vietnam. Vince recognized the style of the work and looked up some photos from the era to get it right. Vince did an amazing job with our illustration!! He sent me pictures of his previous work which made it easy for us to choose him for this project. He was great at keeping in touch throughout the project, as we were under a huge time constraint. He didn't fail to give me a proof every morning and was very understanding/quick with any changes we needed. Definitely would recommend Vince to work with. Great work.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Vince. From the point of receiving his bid, it was obvious that he "got" my vision and he produced! The illustration was a birthday gift for my husband and represented a fun family memory. Vince is a very talented illustrator (I only wish I could draw like that!), and also he is a professional businessman. Our communication - via email, text and phone as appropriate - was timely, clear, and friendly. My project was delivered right on time and turned out as I wished! Vince delivered the files exactly as I needed so I could have it printed locally. Would love to do business with this illustrator again!

lets start by pointing out - I am not the easiest person to work with. That being said-I loved Vince's ideas from the first conversation. vince is amazingly creative. He took my idea and turned it into something extraordinary. HE EXCEEDED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS. Even when the timeline had me stressed he met every deadline (even when I had a last minute change). He went above and beyond and helped coordinate with the printing company to have my save the dates printed on magnets. My save the dates are still my favorite part of my wedding!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a "complicated" system. I like to price jobs by the end result more so than by the hour because a "by the hour" agreement has a tendency to short change the creative process. I want to find a fair price for the end result with reasonable exchange back and forth to get the best end product without worrying about going "over hours"!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've gone to several 1 to 5 day workshops to stay up on or learn new software that has come out over the years. I love the technological side of things and learning new things all the time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil and it was the most natural path for me to go.
