Helping Hands Moving Service, LLC
About this pro
Anyone looking for moving help will not be disappointed using Stephen from Helping Hands. Stephen and his team were hard working, professional and treated our items like their own. They took extra care when moving not to mark up walls or scrape any furniture. They wrapped fragile items (and dressers so they did not have to be emptied). If needed, I would definite call these great guys again. They were nothing short of amazing!!!Jul 9, 2018Verified
Damaged several valuable items including piano, grandfather clock, dining room table, mattresses & boxsprings, clothes, dishes and collectibles. Did not protect home carpet and has to be cleaned. Did not wrap or transport items efficiently. Very careless.Dec 30, 2016VerifiedMichael C.'s reply
I'm sorry you lost your clock key and failed to remove the weights in it as we discussed prior to hiring us. The mattress and box spring had dog urine stains on the side from repeated use as a pets favorite spot to potty. We packed your belongings even the broken dishes you held on to. Piano damage was pre existing. All of your furniture was covered with furniture pads thats how the dining room table got 2 white water marks on it. It did not help yall washing your dishes and drying them on the table which was evident in the photos. I could see the outlines of cassarole dish, pots, and cups. Call the furniture company I sent you info on. The $1250 check will cover refinishing with a bit extra. They are highly rated just like my company. I hope they satisfy you more than we were able to. I wish you and your mom the best and god bless you.
These guys were supposed to move my family. They were to arrive before 10, never showed or called. Called multiple time and was told they were stuck at a weigh station and didn’t know if they could get us moved yesterday. I understand things happen but a simple call and a backup plan could have prevented my stress. We have three small children who had to sleep on the floor last night. Including an 8 month old baby.... Moving is one of those things you have VERY little room for delays. Very unprofessional.Feb 27, 2018VerifiedMichael C.'s reply
My apologies again. We've never gotten stuck at a weigh station before. I did inform you with the information I had at the time. Our last conversation was while in route to you after leaving the truck there in which you said don't bother. I'm sorry again about yesterday. It was outside of my control.
Mike is awesome to work with! The crew he brought with him were top notch! I would absolutely hire them again should we move. I interviewed several local companies and a couple on this website, but I didn't feel as comfortable as I did Mike's team. All the workers were extremely careful with our stuff. In fact, there was only 1 wall scuff in the new house. Only 1!!!!! That's pretty flipping amazing in my book. Considering how many times they had to move large furniture upstairs. My old house had real hard wood floors that are easily scratched. Not a single scratch on the floors. HIRE THESE GUYS!Feb 24, 2018VerifiedMichael C.'s reply
Hey Michael!! Thank you for the amazing review. It was a pleasure meeting you, your family, and earning ya'lls business. If you ever need anything up in Atlanta or down here in Columbus let me know and I'll see what I can do to take care of it. V/R Mike
I would not hire this company if I had to move again. The movers were nice guys and worked hard however after my move, I found damages to my things that I did not see the day of moving. I have moved twice using a different company. My furniture during this move looked like it has been through a battle. I have scratches and nicks on almost everything. They did not shrink wrap ( did not bring any with them) my furniture to protect it during the move and moved full tables ( dining, breakfast) without disassembling it. I have reported the damages and the company has been slow to act. I am glad to have moved but if I had to do this again, I would go with another company.Jan 25, 2018VerifiedMichael C.'s reply
As explained the furniture repair company isnt available till march. I'm still waiting on your response for how you wish to move forward.
