Iâm a single parent raising a son who Baruti Muenda Meriamen has been and still is a positive influence and mentor to. His calm but firm and direct attitude does wonders for anyone listening! He is a very motivational and inspirational person who I am happy to have in my sonâs life. We have been knowing him for several years and my son is continuously learning not just martial arts from him but also how to deal with real life situations. Overall he is teaching him how to be a responsible man. My son is in awe of him and is reaping many benefits which will help him as he maneuvers his way through lifeâs challenges. Awesome person and instructor!!!

My son was 9 years old at the time, and was going through a phase where he didn't want to listen to me. He would pick arguments with his sister, and felt like he could do what he wanted, when he wanted. With caring, but firm guidance from Coach Meriamen, he saw the importance of staying focused and listening to things that I would tell him at home. He learned to appreciate life itself, and those things that others do for him. He even began to do little things for me out of the blue - just because. As my son continues to grow and develop, I see that the chats they had, have made an impact on his life. As a divorced single mom, it's important for me to cultivate my "village" for each of my children. Coach Meriamen has known my children since they were very young and has always been at the top of my list when either of the kids needed an attitude "adjustment." I trust him with their growth and development, and know that he will help me guide them in the right direction.

My life coaching experience has been mind blowing to say the least! Baruti Muenda Meriamen has been and always will be an inspiration to me. Life coaching was definitely his calling. Mr. Meriamen is easy to talk to and also has a great ear for listening. I am a married woman with three amazing children. The initial consultation a year and a half ago was about my six year old daughter. My daughter's lack of focus was interfering with her performance in school. Mr. Meriamen has given me amazing help an strategies in dealing with this issue. As I listen and communicated with Mr. Meriamen, realization sets in that my life needs coaching too. At the age of forty nine, scared and felt my identity was lost and needed clarity on my purpose or importance in life. Starving for his knowledge and expertise, Mr. Meriamen supplied food for thought! His mentoring ability is very impressive. He coached me in a gentle but firm way In so many areas of my life. Mr. Meriamen is very direct, deliberate and decisive in his recommendations. I have been able to make great strides, improvements and applaud Baruti's strength, understanding, patience, enthusiasm,tenacity, and perseverance to my life's journey! He's made me see that the glass is always half full! I look at life differently and know now that it's never ever to late to accomplish what you desire in life. I wanted to enhance my growth and improve relationships with the people who mean the most. I know how and when to pick or choose battles! I've learn to not sweat the small stuff! I am so appreciative and thankful to Baruti Muenda Meriamen for his help, support, dedication, and commitment to enhancing my quality of life! There is no question in my mind that Baruti Muenda Meriamen would be a tremendous asset in your life as a mentor and or coach. He's taught me to always remember that you are confined only by the walls you build yourself.......and you are in the driver's seat with or without a license......that you my friend are in control! Live life....but on your own terms!

I have had the distinct pleasure of having Mr. Baruti Muenda Meriamen as a Martial Arts Instructor for my 13 yr. old daughter. Mr. Meriamen has become so much more than an instructor including a mentor, father figure and very positive male role model for my daughter, teaching her discipline, increasing her self-image and self-esteem. I cannot thank Mr. Meriamen enough for his genuine heart of caring and love. He is a true educator and a wonderful human being.

As a single parent to a 12 year old male, I was very lucky to have been introduced to Mr. Meriamen and what he offers to the community.
My son was struggling with self esteem, at school, at home, but once he ingratiated himself within the family and discipline of CKD he gradually emerged to a maturity that snuck up on me without a glitch. He just started doing things without me urging. I am grateful for the young man that my son is trying to and going to become. The influence of Mr. Meriamen has become an irreplaceable momentum in our lives that we happy to have.
