This treatment mimics many of the procedures used in a facial like Cleanse, exfoliate, steam, extract, massage, mask and hydrate those hard to reach areas. -REFLEXOLOGY- Included with 90 min massage sessions Reflexology is the science and art of stimulating the body's healing forces through a form of compression massage. It is based on the ancient Chinese principal that various points in the hands and feet directly correspond to organs in the body. When pressure is applied to any of these points, the body experiences stress relief and total relaxation. Pressure point massages are used to restore the flow of energy throughout the body. Specific, but with full body effects. The therapy stimulates the nasal/ olfactory senses, mental responses and circulatory functions. Great for the mind, body, and spirit. -PARAFFIN HAND TREATMENT- $8/ $10 Treat your hands to a rejuvenating paraffin dip to lock in moisture, leaving your skin with a silky, smooth, youthful appearance. Paraffin is known to speed healing, soothes pain in joints and muscles, moisturizes skin, open pores and increases blood circulation. Great for arthritic sufferers. Once the paraffin cools and is removed, your treatment is finished with a hydrating cream. -CUPPING- (coming soon!) $10/$15 Massage cupping is a gentle, non-invasive technique using glass cups on the skin as a vacuum to stimulate the flow of blood and energy within the superficial muscle layers to loosen broad areas of muscle tension, alleviate pain, and detoxify the body. The cups may be moved over an affected area or left in place. You may leave the spa looking as though a large octopus gave you a big hug. There is no need for alarm. The lava rocks are also combined with the Swedish massage strokes.
