My passion for photography really started about 6 years ago with a trip to the UK. Once my son was born it really took it to the next level for me professionally. Jd was great! He took my engagement photos with my fiancé at Piedmont Park. The day we had the photo shoot, there happened to be some big event going on at the park, and it took my fiancé and I over 30 minutes to park, but Jd was patient and understanding and still made sure to get us all the photos we needed. He was very charismatic and helped us to feel comfortable and have fun throughout the photo shoot. He gave us lots of different ideas for poses and was very creative. He took a ton of pictures, and we ended up with over 250 edited photos in our digital album. They turned out really beautiful and sweet. Jd is a GREAT photographer! I highly recommend, and I know I would reach out to him again if I had any other needs for a photographer in the area.

I contacted JD on short notice for a surprise proposal/photo shoot at Piedmont park and he was able to accommodate and help coordinate so everything went smoothly. JD communicated quickly and effectively to my questions and helped ease any nerves I had. My fiancé and I are both very camera shy and he was able to make this whole experience so much fun and easy going, even out in public. We appreciated his knowledge of Piedmont park and he provided great suggestions on locations for amazing pictures and fun posses. JD was very professional and we love the quality of the photos! Jordan did a fantastic job photographing my surprise proposal to my now fiance, from the planning, to the picture taking, to the final product! Beforehand he listened and communicated clearly, he had great suggestions but was never pushy. During the event he had the surprise aspect down to a tee, and was a wealth of knowledge in poses and locations, and kept it light and fun throughout. And the final photos looked and were ready way sooner than expected!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give 10% discount for recurring business. I also give referral bonuses if I’m hired. Make sure you tell them to use your name for the referral :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a conversation with the client so I know how comfortable they are in front of the camera or the scope of the project. Learn expectations and what they need from the session. If they have certain preferences it’s best to get these upfront so I can be more prepared going into the shoot.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Really started when my son was born. My wife wanted professional photos almost monthly and was getting expensive so I had technical background with programs and a creative edge for photos with my phone so decided to get my first DSLR. My wife gets professional pictures whenever she wants now.
