FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are customized to your service needs and are usually from a base price. I do offer discount for a large group with 6 and above clients. To secure a booking a deposit is required so that I can close that spot of another enquiry comes in
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in having a consultation to establish your booking requirements, followed by a trial where we have the opportunity to play about with styles and looks to establish exactly what you would like and the best products for your skin and hair. The trial does come at cost which is later deducted off your service fee. If a trial is not required I secure appointments with a 50% deposit and balance is paid after a service. For bridals I usually require full payment a day or two prior to the date. This is because on the day the last thing a bride needs to worry about is making payments so it allows us to just focus on her and the bridal team that day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 3 years in college studying level 1-3 in hairdressing which covered all chemicals, cutting, styling, contraindications, scalp traumas, chemical straightening, weaving, braiding and theatrical hair styling. I also did a 2 year theatrical makeup course covering bridal, beauty, fashion and theatrical makeup. Over the years I have also done ventilating wig making course, advance coloring, makeup for fashion and editorial photography. Whilst working at Mac Cosmetics we had regular quarterly training and certification training.
