- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is based on the home. The number of bedrooms and baths, the type of foundation and the age of the home are all factors for our pricing calculation. Our prices start at $275 for a 3/2 condo on a slab, to $325 - $400 for most homes, to $800+ for mansions . And we have done them all!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, I do 25 - 40 hours of CE every year.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Search several inspectors on-line, Bing, Google and Yahoo are great as long as you dont select the paid ads at the top of the page. Find reviews on places like City Search and Yahoo Local. Anyone with 4 - 5, 5-star reviews is doing a good job. So call them! Ask them to explain their inspection process and what type of report they will give you for your fee. Dont even talk about the fee at first! If the company wants to say "oh, our inspection fee is the lowest of anyone", hang up, and go on to the next one. See, you get what you pay for in this field. And anone who is the rock bottom, lowest fee in the area, is probably just trying to buy your business and get on with the next inspection. Expect to pay $300 - $500 for a modest size home. McMansions will cost much more! At Alltech Inspections, we earn our fee on every inspection with more than you expect. Call us for a free quote today.
