Scotty is an amazing musician and I highly recommend him for any event. He played at my wife's 40th surprise party last night and everyone was blown away. Definitely the best solo guitarist I have heard. Thanks again Scotty!
John was a pleasure to work with, from the beginning stages of contact to the performance onsite. He is highly responsive, positive and enthusiastic and with little detailed direction from me, he provided exactly the musical enhancements we wanted at exactly the time we needed them. His music is supurb. Hire John. You won't be disappointed
Ms. Olga is a professional and accomplished musician. She is awesome with first-time learning music students or with progressed music students. It is very difficult to find a teacher that can relate to young students, while teaching them to learn to play an instrument. She makes learning FUN and rewarding! We are blessed to have her as our son's piano teacher.
Donna with City Beat worked with me and my budget to create the very specific atmosphere I desired through music. The ceremony trio, social hour musician and band's performance was outstanding. City Beat demonstrated a high quality of service through their execution of my very specific and limited musical genre. Donna's responsiveness and professionalism was outstanding during our time working together. The value of the services I received is undeniable. The band was able to learn several songs for me, showing flexibility, especially considering I changed my mind several times. I will definitely be recommending City Beat's services. Ryan is truly the Sherpa that guides you on the journey of inspired learning and appreciation for the guitar, no matter what your starting point. Yes, he most definitely has been to the summit himself as demonstrated by a mastery of many genres, styles, techniques, and a natural improvisation voice, not to mention his gigs and the musician company he keeps. Regardless, he knows the path and is personally and genuinely invested in helping you get where you want to go. I began lessons with him in the summer of 2013 to learn Jazz and musical theory for improvisation. Ryan has demystified the modes and helped me feel comfortable with the notes and patterns up and down the neck. He has a knack for laying out a logical step-wise approach for building a foundation that makes successive concepts more understandable. Lessons are very relaxed and often include an exchange of ideas that run from guitar care, to latest rock or jazz artists, to dumb questions you were always embarrassed to ask about music theory, to how do you see the patterns on the neck, to asking his suggestions on how to improve on an original song, to a variety of ways to practice or think about lesson material, to ..well you get it. Ryan has a depth of knowledge on so many aspects of playing music. He also has an uncanny ability to know where you are in the learning process and laser-like vision and ears as you play. Most often he understands your challenged moments intuitively and can offer a fix on the spot, or a practice suggestion, or a supplemental concept that puts things into perspective. Finally, I admire Ryan for his natural ability to balance the rigors of technique with inspired musical ideas. In short, you will discover that Ryan is the real deal, both personally and as your Sherpa instructor!
We couldn't be happier with our experience in both seeing JP perform at clubs and restaurants and also hiring him for our anniversary party. His love for music shines through in each show. Not only is he talented in singing, playing the guitar and the harmonica, but his music choices are always spot-on for the event in which he's performing. 5 solid stars! Highly recommended!!!
I hired Korby to play live music at our country club's bar for a Friday Night and I couldn't have asked for a better musician! From the moment I put in a request for a musician to play this gig Korby reached out to me. His professionalism over the phone is what got him instantly hired for the gig and the fact that he delivered such a fantastic performance is what is going to get him booked for future gigs by us. While Korby was a new face playing for our country club he will soon be recognized by our Members for future performances. By the end of the night our Members were giving Korby their numbers and asking him to text them when he will be at the club playing again. Wonderful person, beautiful music and an excellent individual to hire.
Awesome band. Each individual and musician and singers are all professional. They are very good at what they do excellent stage presence and crowd-pleasing band highly recommended.
Honey Bee is the right name for this amazing school because talent congregates there, works together and the outcome is just amazingly sweet. Erik and Elise, Honey Bee's owners, are amazing and accomplished musicians in their own right and, as such, they identify and bring out each child's individual talents and gifts. Talent is attracted to them because they do an amazing job bringing out the best in each of their students. Their students excel, both individually and as a group, because Erik and Elise have built much more than a music school. They've built a community that thrives on music and performing and a family that cherishes each of it's unique members and supports one another as everyone progresses, grows and blossoms. The proof is in the pudding (or the Honey, if you will). One only needs to look as far as the amazing group of artists that Honey Bee has already cultivated. Honey Bee is a school that has the caliber to develop true "professional grade" musicians and. If one has any doubt, one need only go as far as attending one of their performances!
Lori Hamrick is an incredibly gifted musician with a passion to teach others. She is extremely kind and patient with all types of learners.
Superb musician who tailored his performance to our gathering of 40 people for an office luncheon. In fact we had asked in advance for a specific song which he performed beautifully. Often people leave after food is served but People celebrating the holidays stayed until David finished performing. David was easy to work with, played the venue quite well.
Very professional, I love the parking. No riff raff, I felt safer at this studio than some of the other studios I’ve booked at. Nice engineers, songwriters and producers. It’s a real one stop shop for musicians and artist.
Mandy is a great pianist and a fun and professional teacher. I would highly recommend Mandy as a piano teacher for the kids. Not only they will get to improve as a pianist but they will grow to become a competent musician.
Paul is a brilliant teacher and gifted musician. He’s extremely intuitive in his approach to teaching our son and tailors his teaching style to suit our son’s needs and interests. Paul is patient, kind, energetic and enthusiastic in his interactions with our child and we feel so grateful to have found him. We hope he can continue to teach and mentor our budding musician for years to come!
Fantastic, pure musician, most times you see a solo performer out in a bar or restaurant and they are mediocre my wife and I stayed two hours longer then we would have we now try to find him all over town!!!!
