I had trim and framework replaced around my basement windows and SCOA did a wonderful job. Jimmy always kept me up to speed on costs and delays (due to weather).

General Contracting - I had several projects to be done as we were getting to put my home of 8 years on the market (kitchen leak, kitchen bay box, shutters, paint, deck). After reading all the reviews, I decided to contact Michael to get a quote. Due to scheduling conflicts, I couldn’t originally meet him on Friday or Saturday, so he took it upon himself to come on a Sunday (which is pretty unheard of since most contractors usually don’t work on Sundays) to assess the job and do his pre-inspection. The quote was more than reasonable for the amount of work I demanded and Michael was hired… All jobs were done in a timely manner; it took approximately 2 weeks due to the weather and schedule conflicts. He kept me informed of what was being done each day and sent pictures of any findings needing attention. I would call Michael and TNT Building and Remodeling LLC if I ever need any work done on my future home and would recommend them to anyone.

My basement flooded last week and I was in desperate need to get the issue addressed and repaired prior to more rain moving into the area. I spent my entire day on Sunday calling and attempting to obtain quotes from contractors. Hugo was the last contractor I spoke with that day and he definitely put me at ease. He didn't attempt to fast talk me, use terms I wasn't familiar with, and he thoroughly explained the job expectation to me. I very much appreciated that he took measurements prior to attempting to provide with a quote. More important than anything, he actually listened to me when I explained my financial situation and what I was attempting to do. The quote was delivered as discussed and he was available to start the work immediately the next day. He was very professional and even made an additional recommendation that I felt comfortable would further address the drainage and water-proofing concern I had initially contacted him for. He ensured the work area was thoroughly cleaned-up and all landscaping was returned to its previous state. He is very professional and his work is top notch! I will not only recommend him to other friends and family, but I also look forward to working with him to complete some additional work in my back yard within the next few weeks.

As an engineer we have a saying that goes "good, fast, cheap; pick two). We got pushed back a little further than originally anticipating but as I worked in construction and weather it was understandable. They were BY FAR the lowest price on architectural shingles and lower with this price than all but one or two who quoted 3-tab shingles. I didn't see any nails on the ground after the job and Ray told us we could load any trash besides paint and something else before the trash company picked up the container a couple days later. They pay per pound as that's the only way I've ever found plus haul and deliver and maybe number of days. Ray was easy to work with and I know we had some plywood sheets replaced. Cover your stuff in the attic as there was a mess up there which I should of anticipated as he said he replaced several sheets. There were nail penetrations in the attic roof (quite a few) which I could bend sideways with a hammer. I'm not stating that last part to complain but more so as a courtesy to the business for future clients. We feel we got much more than we paid for which is VERY rare when dealing with contractors. If you want super pretty attic ceailing it will cost you and the competitors who bid a lot more didn't guarantee it to us except one who did use a better pad but was also a grand and a half less than TWICE what The Art of Home Improvement charged. I would recommend to my family members and friends in a second (unless they want a metal roof which I don't know if they do or not.)

I had my carport closed in and turned into an office. It took a total of 6 days to complete the job but due to weather conditions construction was postponed. I am very pleased with the work done and will be using them again in the future! They were very informative and have very competitive prices.

I hired this company to install a drain in the parking lot to keep water away from the door and from getting into the basement. 1,100 s.f. hair salon. They were very quick . The price was very fair. Very polite and professional. The work looks exactly as described. I would highly recommend for water proofing needs.

Adrian was very communicative and kept us informed on the project. He arrived on time and did an excellent job! We are very happy with the water proofing that he did on our basement (drain tile system). He even fixed our downspout outside! After the work was complete he and his crew cleaned up very thoroughly. Great work, great price. We are very happy.

I am very happy with the replacement deck that this contractor built for my home. They arrived at the time that we had agreed upon and went to work a short time after. The crew was professional and friendly and the work quality appears to be great. There were issues with the weather that slowed things down but as soon as the sun returned, the crew was quick to get back to work and finish the job. Also the price was good and I was able to save a little $$ by purchasing and delivering the supplies from Lowe's myself. The only improvement I could possibly think of is to that i had to return to Lowe's a few times because they were running low on some supplies (Screws, nails etc) after underestimating how much would be needed. That was not a big problem with Lowe's being nearby though. I would use this contractor in the future for home repairs.

Jeff showed up exactly when he said he would be here to give me an estimate and because of the inclement weather we scheduled a time for him to come back to do the work. Once again he arrived on time and did the work in less than an hour. And the price was very reasonable.

Dave cut and installed kitchen countertops for me and did an absolute outstanding job. He has great attention to detail and made sure the job was perfect before he left. I plan on using him on all of my rental homes and my personal home from now on. He really performed when I was facing some tight timelines.

A Team responded very quickly to my quote request. Water is leaking continuously from my shower and i called many people and most of them did not give me immediate appointment or even if they quote is very high. I thought of doing replacing my tap stem by myself but hesitant to do so luckily A team came with in 1 hour of my call. A team fixed my water leak issue with in 15 mins and also did my door weather proof strip. It is bit pricey than i thought but they did great job. I recommend A team service. Thank you A Team

We initially hired Brookstone Construction Group to do the landscaping to our front yard. Little did we know at the time how impressed we would be with Raymond and Rob, that we'd hire them to complete other projects we had in mind. At the start, we had taken down 8 trees in our front yard. A mess was left behind with a ton of sawdust and a fairly large hump in our front yard where the low stumps still resided. We had the idea of having them level it out and have brand new sod laid. During the consultation, we realized from their education that our plans were not the most cost efficient as completing the job we intended would have been really expensive. They threw some ideas and suggestions at us and we shared some ideas of our own. What we came to was: - Build of a retaining wall. - Backfill with new topsoil. - 2 pallets of new bermuda sod laid. - Small, low maintenance plants planted in the area where the topsoil was laid to cover up the stumps. - Mulch and plants installed into flower beds in front of the house. The work was completed quickly and with a high amount of quality. We could not be more pleased with the result. It turned our front yard from an eyesore to a gem we are proud to call ours. We were extremely impressed with the result, they we consulted with Raymond and Rob on a deck replacement as our current deck was on it's last legs and was an extreme safety hazard. Again, we collaborated ideas and took their ideas and very well thought out suggestions and came up with a plan. Here's what we got as a result. - Removal of old shoddy deck. - Installation and build of a 25x12 SOLID wood deck. This deck is incredibly sturdy. - Addition of support beams to our existing screened porch. - Installation of plastic rainguards undernearth a section of the deck so I can use to store outdoor equipment without fear of it being wet. - Installation of a slide onto the deck for our kids. - Installation of decking boards to be used instead of lattice - Steel rebar to be used instead of pickets. It turned out to be better than I ever imagined. What we have now is a deck where my family and I can enjoy to our hearts' content. We have further projects we've hired Raymond and Rob for. We have a custom french door installation to go into the home office. We are also getting them to replace our gutters and add top of the line gutter guards. Raymond, Rob, and his crew are experts to anything home construction related. They probably have forgotten more than we will ever know. They also keep continuing their education to know what current trends are and go above and beyond code to ensure top quality results. Professionally, I believe this is where they stand out the most. Most other companies we've worked with do not offer their expertise and education. They will tell you what they think and will give well thought and compelling reasons why. They ask the right questions to garner thought and feedback all for the sole purpose of getting the customer what they're after at a fair price. When it comes to pricing on their work, they are not the most inexpensive nor the most expensive. However, I truly believe their pricing is properly fair. Everything is transparent. They don't throw in extra costs just to run up the tab. As the project evolves, there are certain things that cannot be accounted for upfront and will add some extra to the bottom line. They do handle this extremely professionally and with open and direct communication. We'll no doubt be contacting Brookstone Construction Group first with any additional projects we have in mind.

Reggie far exceeded my expectations with my stamped concrete patio project at our backyard. He had to start 2days later due to weather but well worth the wait. He completed it on Time and I could not be happier with the outcome. Very professional. Highly recommended contractor. I wish I could post pictures.

A-1 did a great job of expertly taking down the trees at the price that was negotiated. Preston is easy to work with and very friendly. The subcontractor that was used to grind the tree stumps was ok and could have done better work. In general, I was very pleased and would use Preston again.
