Introduction: My services include data entry, transcription, writing, editing, and admin assisting.
To whom it may concern, this letter will introduce me and to tell you of my skills and desires to work for your company.
I began my career in the banking business and was in charge of opening new accounts working for the vice president of the bank at a local branch. I also served as a teller when needed because I had previous experience in that.
I moved into personnel work for a local department store, and I handled all the employee records which included filing insurance and payroll, and this was for nine stores (our local five and four out of town). I also was executive assistant to the
president, three vice presidents, the comptroller and the personnel manager.
I had to prepare weekly business reports of all the stores' income and have it to all the managers of all these stores on a Monday morning each week.
I later became a master cosmetologist and owned my own salon while working for a major hair company as an educator and a platform artist. I worked doing salon education of our products. did that for many years and sold my business after a divorce.
I attended Augusta Tech for computer networking and took the Cisco training courses for the CCNA and CSME. I have a certification in Microsoft for XP Pro and am also a certified computer technician. I can build and repair computers and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. I also have a
networking certification with CompTIA. This has been a wonderful experience.
I transitioned from that into administrative work to get back to my business degree and worked as an administrative assistant for a health club where I processed club contracts for two local stores and four out-of-town stores. My work was done on Excel
spreadsheets. I also handled correspondence for the human resource manager.
I took a position as branch office administrator for Edward Jones and worked 2 years there. I enjoyed the job, but it was out of town, and after 2 years, it became too much of a commute, and I came back to Georgia.
I took a position as an escalation supervisor for Sprint where I handled all the calls the frontline agents could not handle. I worked by de-escalating angry and confused clients, helping them understand their bills, taking payments, making payment
arrangements and also activating and deactivating phones. I did light technical work as to troubleshooting of devices was also a part of this job.
I now work for DirecTV as an NCW, which means I handle all the new accounts and the customers who are moving to another home or a 2nd or 3rd home. I handle billing
questions and do corrections if needed. I am authorized to give credits where warranted and do technical troubleshooting of our devices. Many customers call in agitated as they
receive their first bill, and my job is again to de-escalate them and help them understand our way of billing. My goal has always been to end each call with satisfaction and a happy customer who will be a long-term customer.
I am looking for full-time work with a very well-established company and also one that can provide me with some benefits such as insurance, etc.
If you require anymore information about my qualifications or skills to perform your job, please call me or email me.
Thank you.
