Introduction: I am a writer, copy editor, proofreader, and manuscript evaluator with experience working with independent writers. I have written book reviews, policy manuals, job and business descriptions, web content, articles, employee manuals, query letters, and book synopses. I have edited and proofread novels, web content, essays, and religious sermons. As a manuscript consultant, copy editor, and proofreader, I bring a fresh eye to a writer's work. In evaluating a piece, I search for strengths in character development, plot, and storytelling, and uncover errors in grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. I use what I learn about a writer's manuscript to assist the author in transforming his or her book into a tightly written piece.
