FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is based on the accounting software, size of the company/number of employees, and depended upon the weekly/monthly needs of the client. I usually start off with hourly pricing for the first 30-days, and move to value-based pricing once we established a flow of the company's transactions. If a client prefers to have a set price up-front, or is working within a limited budget, I review the current status of the financial records to determine a price that fits the scope of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I require an initial phone conference to determine the needs of the customer based on the industry, type of business entity, number of years in service, number of employees, current software, and financial reporting needs. Once I have accessed their needs, we schedule a face to face meeting (if within traveling perimeters), or set up another phone meeting to discuss the details, and recommendations. We will discuss pricing based on the recommendations or scope of work and determine the turn-around time for the project or on-going services. I also make sure there's a clear understanding of the clients expectations, and what they can expect from IBA.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.B.A in finance, along with over 15 years of accounting experience. I've worked with several large companies in different industries over a 20 year span of my career. Some of the positions I have held throughout my career include: Staff Accountant, Construction Accountant, Sr. Property Accountant, Assistant Controller, as well, as Accounting Manager. I am a Quickbooks ProAdvisor, and have advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. I also have extensive experience with using Yardi, Appfolio, Great Plains, AMS 360, as well as, a number of other business and banking software systems.
