FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in 1983 in Charleston, SC. I am a retired Radio Personality of 30 years, and in 1983, a fan of the station had a couple of limos and offered to sell me one, so I bought it as a weekend business, weddings and such, and before I knew, I went from full time radio to mostly part time radio and full time Limo operator. I bought several more limos over the next few years and built it into the largest limo service in Charleston at that time. At one time I had 17 vehicles including, stretch limos, vans, and town cars. Sold the business in 1998. Have continued to be in the business since, now over 29 years in this business.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make Sure The Limousine Service you pick is Fully Limo Insured, Licensed by The State of Georgia with The Public Service Commission. Make sure your driver has a Ga. State issued Chauffeur's Permit. Ask for their MC# (you can look them up on the public service site to see if they are in good standing with the state) Ask to see the limo first. Know what you getting.
