FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The bankruptcy case fees depend upon the facts and circumstances of the case and can range anywhere from $1,300.00 to $1,500.00 plus the filing fees for Chapter 7 cases. Injury cases are usually done on a contingency fee basis depending upon the type of case. The typical fees would be one-third of the total (33%) if the case does not go to trial and forty (40%) percent is the case goes to court. The fees may be negotiable depending upon the circumstances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If it is a bankruptcy case, i will usually do a pre-screening on the telephone to make sure the client qualifies for bankruptcy and if so then I will email the client with a list if items they are to bring to the first meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have practiced injury and bankruptcy law for twenty-five (25) years and have a Master of Laws Degree in Litigation from Emory University School of Law. I have represented clients in actions such wrongful death, defective drug cases, and other serious injury cases involving 18 wheelers. I am a former guest speaker on 1380 WAOK Radio on the topic of bankruptcy.
