Steve and I spent the whole day together taking photographs of our entire product line (frames/matboards/plexiglass/backing boards). He was great to work with, extremely talented and patient. He worked hard to get the right product shots and we really appreciate him coming to our warehouse. The photos will soon be up at www.matboardandmore.com. Pretty much every picture of our products is his!Oct 1, 2015Verified
Steve was great. He worked hard to get all the photos I wanted, and then he was thorough in the post-production process.Aug 25, 2015Verified
Consummate professional. Able to put you at ease and relax into a better picture. I don't like being photographed and he made it comfortable and gave me a top notch professional photo. Don't hesitate to book Steve!Aug 19, 2019Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm a member of ASMP and have been certified by the Professional Photographers of America as a Certified Professional Photographer. I recently won a "Phd" award given by internationally known portrait photographer Peter Hurley.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I'm a portrait photographer. So I take pictures of people. I'm hired by my subjects directly, marketing directors, art directors, ad agencies and other intermediaries.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Check out the photographers website and blogs. Any photographer can put up a dozen good photographs. But can you go back on their blog and see their quality and consistency? Then look for what their putting on their blog and website. Are they a landscape photographer looking to make extra money by doing portraits? The other thing I'd advise people is that you will get what you pay for. Thumbtack is great for many reasons but it fuels "the race to the bottom". I might have the highest price of all the quotes you're looking at but I'm worth it. I deliver, time and time again. I roll up my sleeves, I think about the person and what they want to accomplish with their image and I serve that goal.
