Introduction: Is your child struggling in math? Are you noticing frustration and stress when they are trying to complete homework? Are you at your wits end and don’t know how to help? I understand that pain of seeing your child hurting and not knowing how to help. I understand how your child feels because I was once that struggling math student. That’s why I teach math in a clearer and slower way.
I am a certified teacher with the ability to properly help students leap over learning hurtles. Lessons are based on the specific results of math and reading diagnostic assessments which are given at no additional cost to you. Your child will be able to ask questions, make mistakes, in a 1 to 1 session without peer pressure.
We will incorporate screen sharing, whiteboards, digital highlighters, voice recorders, learning apps, levelized story books, virtual manipulatives, etc...In my opinion, the best part is that your child will receive a recording of the session in which to refer to later when needed.
My main subject to teach is math but there is a strong correlation between math and reading. You can't solve a word problem if you can't read and comprehend what is being said. So I now I offer tutorials in both subjects.

My daughter recently started being tutored by Ms Sonya. So far, my expectations have been fulfilled. Ms Sonya is easy to communicate with, and is very nice. My daughter and I are excited to be working with her, and are confident that we will see positive results.

I had introduced my nephew to many other tutors in the past without any success. Until one day, I was asked to contact Ms Sonya for help. Ms. Sonya promised me that she could help, so I decided to take a chance. I had almost given up on my nephew, because I got tired of wasting my financial resources without any positive return on investment. So, I introduced Ms. Sonya to my nephew and they hit it off immediately. Ms. Sonya had an important conversation with my nephew, discussing the importance of getting an educations and why it was necessary to understand the concept of mathematics. Whatever Ms Sonya said to invoked an inner change worked, because now my nephew has turned his life around in the class room. My son Jason has always struggled in math until we was referred to Ms. Sonya the Math Tutor. She's patient and kind, she makes learning interesting and fun for him. His teacher informed me that over the last month of so she not only seen and improvement in his grade but his confidence level is through the roof.
We would like to thank Ms. Sonya for her hard work and dedication to help my little Jason succeed!

I've had this tutor for a long period in my life and I don't regret it, it has had a amazing impact on me and my grades, Ms. Sonya is nice and easy to talk too, so I'm sure if you have shy kids they'll have no problem getting along with her. She goes over the topics with her students, asks if they have any questions, and explains it to them, and also uses planed courses ready, on educational websites. Also does well with using resources like, unfinished homework, or just studying with some YouTube videos. Great teacher 10/10!
