She's great, responsive, helpful, she doesn't teach whatever music she wants to she lets the children choose the genre of interest even if it's Disney songs.
I have really enjoyed taking lessons at Cordell Music so far. He has a good syllabus and the lessons build on one another in an understandable way.
I am of 'advanced maternal age' and it was quite a leap to attempt a life long dream of playing the piano. I didn't know where to begin so I googled Piano Teachers in my area. It was my great fortune to sign up with Teal Justice. She approached each student individually (I eavesdrop while waiting for my lesson to begin), teaching the youngsters to read music, place hands properly and adds theory and history to her lesson. As an older student, I could care less about theory ~ I just want to play...under her guidance, I have advanced through two books in less than a year and have taken on a third for my own enjoyment.
Every review says as much about the person reviewing as it does the business reviewed. Olga is a conscientious and professional piano and voice teacher and I highly recommend her. A bad review is telegraphing that the person writing it has specific things that set them off. Sometimes these are fair and then the review reads as sensible. Typing a bad review in ALL CAPS is not sensible. The person comes across as obnoxious and at best, as fussy when focused on things most people consider unfair, like free lessons. Unless it is someone who shares the same issue, when someone like that writes a bad review the only person he or she is pushing away is someone LIKE THEM. So in that respect, they're doing the place a favor because they are aborting another bad review. Most of us read multiple reviews and can sort the rational voices from the angry ones. I am a parent of two boys and I have to say that $20 for quality one-on-one (private) 30 minute music lessons is too cheap. This is especially true if the teacher has several university degrees. Yes Olga gives us a discounted rate for my younger son but I do not expect her to teach for free. I am yet to see a teacher giving a $20 private lesson and free lesson for the 2nd child. To do it once perhaps, but that deal would be too good to be true to sustain long term. Not only would the teacher soon go out of business but it is unfair to the parents who are paying a higher but fair rate. In this day and age that is not a fair price for a qualified music teacher. However, $20 for a group lesson of 4 or 5 kids would make sense. My boys were able to read notes from their first piano lesson and are able to interpret a piece of music. Their lessons include scales, arpeggios, classic pieces, aural testing, sight reading and music theory. She is currently preparing my eldest son for the grade 1 Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Exam. I can say she has gone above and beyond what previous piano teachers have delivered, even extending the lesson time by 5 or 10 minutes if needed. She was more focused on my boys understanding the concept than anything else. In fact and she spaced our lessons so they do not overlap giving me ample time to discuss any concerns. Our experience has been that we get more than what we pay for at each lesson. No one should have to work for free. The effort Olga makes in teaching our boys correct finger posture, rhythm and theory is incredible. She is great with kids and I could not ask for a better teacher.
Voice lessons with Elideusa are wonderful! She is so patient and encouraging. I gained a solid understanding of vocal anatomy and technique.
I have been taking jazz music theory lessons with Ryan for 8 months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and conversant in all forms of music. Ryan is an experienced teacher who works to a plan and knows how to push his students appropriately to help them realize their potential. Ryan is able to demonstrate everything he wants his students to learn, which is extremely helpful.
I live in Norcross and commute to Suwanee weekly for piano. There are piano teachers in my area, but Mrs. Giles is not only a piano teacher, but on my support team. I know she wants my son to thrive and grow in the same ways I do. Like the support of family. She is firm, yet loving with my strong willed child and can definitely challenge and teach gifted students as well. She has not only taught him music theory, but encouraged his love of music through assisting him in developing his first composition. The studio hosts a beautiful recital at Collins Hill High School each year. I continue to be impressed with the talent of the students and encouraged through their performance accomplishments. The studio also hosts a quarterly optional performance class, where each student plays a selected piece for their peers. I also really appreciate that each student is given a yearly review, so you may track their growth and progress. I homeschool, so I appreciate that Mrs. Giles makes herself available during the day, so I do not have to give up another evening. She has additional rooms, so your children can read or do school work while you wait. I feel certain if you let her know your expectations, she will not only meet, but exceed your needs. She is firm, loving, consistent, talented and faith filled. I highly recommend Mrs. Giles and V. C. Giles Music studio in Suwanee.

Nora has been the best piano teacher for me. Being in my late sixties, I wanted to learn at my pace without pressure but at the same stretching me to see what I can do like playing in front of an audience. She has been patient and kind. I am learning and enjoying playing the piano.Nora gives good instruction and is very organized. I've enjoyed our lessons very much. She is knowledgeable about music, loves it and stays in touch with other teachers and groups. She has been the best teacher for me. Thanks Nora!
Mostai helped me with initiating the contact between me and my children's music instructor. Since I live on the border of metro Atlanta, I had a feeling that it was going to be a challenge to find a great pianist to teach my children how to play the piano. Mostai went above and beyond and found a great pianist--Lacie! Lacie is doing a wonderful job with teaching my children. My children are enthusiastic about learning to play the piano, and they are progressing to great accomplishments.
I’ve taken Piano and music theory lessons with Mac and Aaron for almost a year now and I continue to be impressed every week with the value and knowledge I receive as a result. Each lesson gets me closer to my goal of playing out at jazz jam sessions and more comfortable with the language of music. I had two teachers as a kid and young adult, but since I’ve picked Music back up with Intown Musicians, I’m really impressed with the practical, patient and measured approach these guys have! I’d recommend them to anyone.
He is exceptionally knowledgeable (music theory, composers, meter, music history, etc) and easy to work with. He is very patient and has a great sense of humor. Excellent formal training for any type of music. He takes the time to explain to me what he expects and illustrate if necessary including pronunciation, cadence/rhythm, etc. He is able to present what he is teaching in more than one way which is the sign of a superb teacher. Sets reasonable goals and lets you know how well you are doing. Yes, I have "homework", exercises ad music both. I can read music; however, he is superb for teaching the novice who doesn't know anything about music.
Justin is an amazing voice instructor who knows how to tailor voice lessons to the students interests all while dealing with technique in a professional way. One of the best voice instructors I've ever had the pleasure of working with (and there have been a lot!).
Rebecca is a wonderful teacher who truly understands my son and his learning style. We could not be happier with the lessons she provides.
Mr Quinson is an excellent piano teacher. He is very patient and his enthusiasm for piano is contagious. I am blessed to have him as my teacher .
Jacob is a highly skilled and trained musician and very Insightful with his lessons, catering each lesson to the unique way each student learns. I’ve learned a lot of music theory through his guidance and plan on learning much more. Thanks Jacob! ~NCS

I have found a great balance between teaching the learning of music theory, scales, modes and excercises while also Helping the student learn songs and licks.
I teach music theory, artist development, stage presence and the application of each. I also give lessons on guitar, bass guitar, and piano! I offer a 30-min session per week, while the monthly rate is $80-$100 (depending on the travel arrangements). Call Matt Bailey for any additional info you may want to know!
I work with students' individual interests and strengths to create an exciting learning track, combining their favorite songs with music theory lessons so that they understand what makes their favorite music tick, in the hope that they too will grow to be creators of music many will love. My goal is always to teach my students well enough that they'll grow self-sufficient in their pursuit of musical knowledge and give them the right tools to apprehend and take charge of each challenge on the way.
