I hired Lawn Xperts to get professional lawn care. Our lawn was personally mowed every 3 weeks and bushes every 6 weeks or so, but I wanted a clean professional job and better fit for some difficult to reach plants. Despite the fact that I left a 40% tip even when they were late I had to leave for work, I came home to see one bush essentially unfinished, another not looking crisp, grass still on sidewalk cracks and over patio edges, and trim left on the side of my house. I messaged them the next day and asked if this was an oversight or the quality of their work. The response regarding one bush was that there was a Yellowjacket nest, that they did the best they could, and "to be careful". As for the trim left in the side yard, the response was that they took some, but my yard looked better. I am disappointed that I had to contact them to follow up on an unfinished job and if Yellowjackets were present, I should not have had to ask why a bush was uncut. The idea that my yard looks better does not excuse the fact that it does not look professional for which I paid. We could have made it "better". We wanted professional. Which this wasn't. I was looking into getting some repeat care but I will not be hiring them again.Sep 20, 2016Verified
