FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes travel time, an hour of shoot, typically we get everything we need in that hour but I will stay longer with a client free of charge if I feel or they feel we’re still not getting everything they wanted...or if we’re having too much fun! I deliver their photos in a beautiful digital gallery. Prints or photo albums, books are not included in the price. And I provide help with outfits, finding a location and the necessary props depending on the type of shoot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I present myself and answer any questions of fee they may have. Once they are interested in a shoot I like to meet with my clients to get a better sense of what they are looking for from the shoot, I help with location, what to wear etc. I’m super flexible with booking a shoot because I understand everyone has a busy schedule. I like to keep communication going until the day of the shoot to make my client feel ready and at ease on the day of the shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught. I started working on my craft 10 years ago when I purchased my first DSRL. I’ve attended several workshops, seminars and continue to learn through experience, research and other professional photographers. I believe photography is an ever learning profession. I also have over 10 years experience in customer service and business management.
