FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm offering special prices right now for remote sessions during our health crisis! My prices are based on the time length of the lesson, i.e. 30 min, 45 min or 60 min. I have students who come from out of town and book 2 hour slots. My prices are also based on how often a student comes, i.e. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. Prices are also based on how many sessions a student pays for, i.e. 1 session to 12 sessions can be purchased.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a consultation for 45 minutes to interview a potential student. If the student is still in school, I like to meet with the parent who is responsible for paying for the lessons. I want to spend time alone with the potential student to explore their talents and ambitions. I will do certain exercises with the student to analyze their skills and talent. After that I can make a prognosis to determine approximately how long it will take the student to reach their goal. I do not take on every student. The consultation is an exploration for both the potential student and myself to see if we are compatible to work together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been singing and performing since I was a child. I have studied music extensively in college as well as many years of private lessons in singing, songwriting, piano, guitar and music theory. I have been blessed with the gift of working with gifted people to bring out the most with their talents. Music is both an art and a skill.
