FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The basic individual tax preparation package starts at $245.00, for preparing and e-filing both Federal and one State return. Tax Resolution and Audit prices are negotiated based on project scope and require a 10 - 15% deposit before the start of the project. Bookkeeping Service fees starts at $875/Quarter plus the cost for QuickBooks Online, based on the plan suited to client's small business. We also give new clients a 15% welcoming discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first meeting, the scope of the work to be done is determined based on the client completing a tax/business questionnaire, this helps to determine the complexity of the work to be done and the initial cost and helps to determine any additional fees to be incurred due to the complexity of the job, after commencement of the work. New clients are required to provide a copy of last 3 years tax return, both federal and state. An engagement contract is then prepared, outlining the engagement process and responsibilities of both client and tax/business consultant. Upon receipt of the signed engagement contract, information is provided on the best method of providing source documents requested (via SecureFile upload, mail or hand delivery).
