FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on the day, as well as hours, and type of event. fridays, and sundays, and weekdays will always, and should always cost less than saturdays. saturdays is DJ prime time, and a DJ shouldnt expect to make the same amount on those days as he does on saturday. Weddings cost more, as do events that are more hours. typically though, i never charge more than 250-300, which isnt something you see a quality DJ doing regularly
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
when working with a new customer. i first find out what they want from me as a pro. i need to know what genre of music they need for their event. although song lists are good, i recognize that they cant ALWAYS be provided, therefore just genres work, and i will provide the best songs and hits from that genre. so when working with a new customer, i find out all the info i need, including what all they want and need for me, so that everyone is happy at the conclusion of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everyday i am searching for new music from different Genres. Experience is the best Teacher when it comes to DJing. i am 6 years in, so i consider myself a seasoned professional. also, i keep my ear to the streets as far as new music goes, and i am always on top of new releases, and always have the latest songs and hits, as well as the classics.
