Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Patience would probably be the first answer that pops into my head. Why? Without patience, which includes being calm and kind when working with dogs, your grooming can be perfect but that doesn't mean a thing if a groomer is not kind and caring while grooming a dog. How a dog is handled during grooming is very important. Working with dogs is not my job, it is actually my passion. Since I was a small child, I have had dogs in my life. Not as simply a pet but, as a member of my family. Being able to work with dogs is definitely what makes my job so perfect.

FAQs

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Many people do not understand the amount of time it takes to properly groom a dog. There is several steps that need to be done to complete a groom. The first step is roughing in the dog (initial clip), brushing out the dog, cleaning the ears, clipping the nails and sanitary clip. Then the bath is done followed by a fluff dry and brush. Once this is completed the finishing work is done which includes the final clip and scissoring work. Finally bows or bandanna & cologne. This takes time and is not something that can be done quickly. A perfect groom takes time to complete.
