We have been trying to reach out to you. Reusing old tile is always a bad idea. Answer your phone. Flooring Zone ALWAYS makes our Customers happy.
I don't typically do reviews, good or bad, but this was so bad that I had to share. I needed my stand up master bath shower done. We provided the tile, grout, etc., even the Schuleter trim that Miles advised. Problem after problem occurred. The trim was poorly installed; crooked and mismatched to the point we pulled it out around the niche while still wet. Damage the installer, Neto, did to the wall he filled with thin set. There is grout on my walls, my ceiling, some tiles, down my banister and on my front door. Tiles on the ledge were installed upside down. They messed up my hardwood floor, took out the pieces to replace and then did that wrong so there was a big lip. Came back and pulled it up and redid it and messed up the other end of the board. They pulled the toilet and left the water in it. The drain in the shower had plastic and garbage stuffed down it. I asked for Neto not to return and someone else to come fix the issues and was ignored.....to the point the Neto came back and made my walls outside my shower worse. I now have to pay someone to re-skim the walls he messed up badly. I did receive an adjustment on my bill for this at least. I would NOT recommend this company for tile work if Neto is your installer. We chose them base on the fact that many websites have them at 4+ stars. I now have to pay someone else to come in and fix the issues. There was more and I could go on. Don't use them if Miles and Neto involved. Update 5/19/2017- Less than 24 hours after posting this review, Miles, said owner, called and asked me to remove it. When explaining why I would not and that I felt it honest he went on to accuse my 17 year old daughter of damaging the floor that Neto actually had to fix when they dropped a bag of tile pieces on it. Said that my daughter told him that she did it when she and/or friends dropped beer during a big party at our house that weekend. Miles told me they did us a favor by fixing the floor and not saying anything and he thought I should know now. First problem with this - my daughter was not home at night the weekend they worked and dropped the bag of tile to damage the floor and have a party......my husband and I were home both nights, waiting up until midnight Friday and 1a Saturday for her to come home. When would she have had the party?? Second problem - my daughter is not one to just strike up a conversation with friends of ours' in the house, so tell me why she would choose to start a conversation with a complete stranger and then go on to "confess" to the stranger. Biggest problem - the OWNER of the company had no problem again lying to a customer and throwing unfounded accusations against our daughter. Unethical. Dishonest. Disgusting.May 19, 2017VerifiedFlooring Zone's reply
Flooring Zone apologizes for a lack of customer satisfaction. Heather has been satisfied, and has pulled all negative reviews. We strive to make all of our customers happy. Unfortunately, Thumbtack does not allow our customers to pull negative reviews down. Mrs. Held has indicated that she would like to pull this review, but Thumbtack does not allow the customer to take it down. We have resolved her issues. Remember, you do have a Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty. We welcome you to the Flooring Zone Family!

Sorry for the miscommunication. One of our installers had a baby! We never deposited your check, and we gave you a $50 Gift Card for your trouble. We offered to reschedule your project, but you declined. Enjoy your $50 Gift Card for your trouble.
The new tile floor is great! There were some issues with the existing subfloor that were addressed very well. This change ultimately added a good chunk of time to the overall job (the job was to take 5 days but took 6 or 7) but the final product is wonderful. Adding radiant flooring to the kitchen was also a huge plus. Overall, great work at a very fair price. I'd definitely have them do more work in the future.Feb 15, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We use lasers to measure the job. Then, we feed all of the measurements, along with the customers choice of flooring into the computer. We are not pulling numbers out of thin air.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We have dealt with customers that just need a small hardwood repair, as well as completing large commercial projects.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?We just finished a large project at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park Visitor's Center. We did carpet in the Theater, Offices, and Museum. We also installed VCT and did some tile work. Our guys were in and out in 5 days.
