- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard hourly rate which applies for most projects. Depending on the project, I can be flexible based on how much client assistance is available or if I'll need to hire an assistant. However, some tasks such as photo/document scanning have more of a per/item pricing setup.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new client always begins with a consultation. Preferably in person to get a feel for the project and all of the people involved. During this consultation, things such as goals and expectations regarding time frame and end results are established. Once an understanding has been reached, the start of the work is scheduled.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The bulk of my education and training has been from life in general. I've been organizing my whole life though I didn't think of it that way until recently. My brother used to pay me to keep his room neat and clean when I was 12 years old. In more recent years I've read books, taken a few courses/seminars, and worked with more senior organizers to hone my skills.
