I had never recorded music before until I met Scott. He naturally guided me through the process with ease. He was more than generous with the time he spent on my recording and refused to stop working until I was completely satisfied. He only charged me for the quote I received on ThumbTack and did not charge me extra for setup, tuning, repeated recordings, etc. He is definitely worth more than he charges.Jul 27, 2016Verified
These guys were great! I recorded my entire album and they provided the sound I wanted just as I was hearing it in my head. Super easy to work with and very concerned that I was happy. They will definitely be doing my next album!Feb 8, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? That every project is different. Some folks want mixing and mastering, others need edits and tuning, and then there are some that have a great mix already and just need mastering to get their song up to radio standards. We price each project based on its own merits. We NEVER charge by the hour because if we give you a competitive project quote then we mean it. No hidden charges UNLESS the client makes changes at the end of the project. Every mix and Every master come with 3 revisions AND you receive your finished project in Mp3, WAV, AIFF, and DDP for mass production.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I "typically" like to talk or meet with a new client to discuss what they're goal is. If we find we're a good fit, then they would send me the tracks in WAV format over Dropbox or We Transfer and I load them to my system and do my thing. When I have done the way I hear the song, with direction from the client of course, I send a stereo MP3 to the client so they can listen, critique it, and request adjustments. I do this process TWICE for each song, in the mix phase AND again at the master phase.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Mixing and Mastering at Berklee College of Music.
