FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing details and booking options are available on our website! We also offer discounts when you book "Monthly Tuition" of four lessons at a time, and offer a $15 credit for referrals! Contact us anytime to book a one-time session to see if lessons are a good fit. After that, we can set up either a monthly rate or a follow up lesson suited to your schedule. Discounts are available when lessons are booked the month in advance. Please ask about our "Thumbtack" discount rate!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New vocal coaching clients receive a full-scale vocal diagnosis to test range and abilities in ear training and pitch recognition. You also receive a tailored vocal warmup, a unique one-on-one experience to set your goals, and an online journal that details everything we covered in the lesson. We also discuss your background in music, what sort of songs you would like to study, what techniques you hope to learn, the basics of taking care of your voice and any needed techniques for you to start practicing on your own.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our vocal coach Anji Kaizen has her degree in Music with a concentration in Songwriting/Composition and Music Technologies, and has been professionally performing and studying music for over 10 years.
