Cool guy and super knowledgeable about music. His lessons go much deeper than just learning songs, he's going to teach you the theory behind them and how to understand/deconstruct them, which I really appreciate. You really get a sense that he has a plan for you to improve, he keeps track of your progress and has a program for you as a player. I also like the informal atmosphere, he's easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend him to any player looking to improve.
Taking violin lessons (and now viola) with Paige. It's been a much better experience for me than my first time trying to learn violin. I appreciate that she's willing to adapt her lessons to my own goals and also select music that is actually pleasing to listen to even for an absolute beginner. As some other reviews mentioned, she's also very quick to reply to any messages.
Voice lessons with Elideusa are wonderful! She is so patient and encouraging. I gained a solid understanding of vocal anatomy and technique.
Pam does a great job of teaching young children at their age level. Best of all, my child looks forward to his lessons, and he is really enjoying learning to play the piano.
I took about a handful of piano lessons several years ago and recently decided I wanted to give it another try. All my colleagues possess artistic talents outside their careers, and I want to bring something to the table. Ray Akers absolutely helped me achieve that goal! He thoroughly coursed me through the basics, techniques, and exercises until I had a comfortable understanding. He is no stranger to constructive criticism, but he also points out my strengths and encourages improvement through independent practice. Before I knew it, I was reading sheet music while playing without sweating profusely! A very diverse and talented musician himself, he helped me uncover my own niche in music genres. I have an entirely new perception and level of appreciation now when enjoying a live performance or listening to an album. I'm so glad I got more than I expected from his instruction. Mr. Akers is punctual, professional, technical and always ready to share his knowledge and joy of musical expression. I would definitely recommend him to a friend!
Justin is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. The guitar can be intimidating especially for an adult learner and he made learning the chords on the guitar very easy and fun. I would highly recommend his services.
My son has been receiving piano lessons for @ 1 month. His teacher, Ben Phillips, is great. The lessons are fun and easy going, and he really looks forward to the evenings that he has lessons. I don't even have to bug him to practice. It has been great!
Greg's been fantastic to work with. He asked what I wanted to learn and has catered his lessons to my goals. Exactly what I needed. He's very patient with me, and makes the practices fun. I look forward to them each week.
The 44th Note provided guitar lessons for my daughter from age 10-17. It was an incredible experience for her. Can't say enough great things about instructor. We were so sad when the company and our fantastic instructor relocated to another state. Will continue with online lessons.
Trey has been patient and persistent, but never pushy, in his follow-ups to have my first guitar lesson. It is something I have truly appreciated. I'm really thankful to start playing guitar after a 25-year hiatus. I'm grateful to have such a talented musician and guitarist in my corner to help me become better.
Brian is an outstanding guitar instructor. He teaches both of my young children and me. He has a great deal of patience and energy. We have learned a tremendous amount and truly enjoy lessons.
I have had experience with other guitar teachers before, so I say this without hesitation that he is the best guitar teacher (and guitarist) out there.
Thank you for making my surprise come to life! This company went above and beyond for a great experience. It was very personal and real. The teacher was very patient and knowledable. Amazing!
I share 55 years of experience in six-string guitars and 40 years under a steel. I prefer students who are beginners or a little higher. You will need the best comfortable guitar you can afford. I would like to know the make and model of your guitar. If you prefer an electric, bring ONLY the guitar. I have plenty of amps. I am not an exponent of one style of music; instead I teach you the basics so you can easily play any style you like. I expect you to practice 15 - 30 minutes a day, 7 days a week. Why? Well, you won't learn guitar from me: you'll learn it from YOU. Those times when you start applying what I teach you is where you start making that guitar your own. You also need regular practice to toughen the 4 fingertips of your left hand. Rate: $50 per hour or part thereof, delivered at my home 121 Hampshire Ct, Avondale Estates, 30002, Saturdays at 2pm, and only there. Let me know if these terms suit you. We'll have fun! I offer guitar lessons to people of all ages! I can travel to you, or you can come to me. I am friendly, easy and offer lots of fun!
I'm a sophomore at Kennesaw State University studying Piano Performance. I'm a piano teacher at Community Music Atlanta. I have experience with piano beginning students and intermediate students.
I offer professional in-home guitar and bass guitar lessons. The guitar or bass guitar lessons are tailored to the student depending on his/her individual interests. I believe all students shall need a comprehensive study of styles and techniques focusing on the musical genres that they are most passionate about. I teach all ages and all skill levels; anyone can learn guitar! The lessons are performed in the comfort of your own home which I believe is the best place to learn, free from distractions and the stress of an office environment.
I offer only the basics. If a teacher gives more than that, the students inherit the musical style of the teacher and never develop their own style.
