I was so impressed with the two-man crew who came to do the work at my house. They were thorough, careful, and checked in with me throughout the job to make sure I was satisfied. Even when I decided that I needed one more coat of paint to cover my formerly very dark cabinets, they willingly complied. They were able to achieve a ceiling repair that most other contractors had said would be much more difficult. They handled it like a breeze. I like the little touches, like going out to their truck on a smoke break, rather than smoking anywhere near the house. I will definitely use this company again !!

We hired Willie after being scammed by another contractor who pretended like he was going to do the work, took a deposit of half of the project cost (over $3000) and then ran off with our money! That was a hard pill to swallow and it made it difficult to trust contractors. Then came Willie. Willie had the cards stacked against him, because we were very particular with what we wanted and very cautious and guarded, due to the previous situation. Willie handled this professionally and graciously. He understood the circumstances, listened to what we wanted, honored all of our wishes and delivered a wonderful room addition. This was a major project that took over 7 weeks to complete and Willie showed up faithfully ready to work. Whenever we had any issues with how something turned out, Willie was right there in agreeance eager to fix it. Be sure to be very clear up front on what you are expecting out of the project and gain agreement on your expectations. Willie is a perfectionist and gives care to each project he does. He's also just a kind hearted, nice man to be around. I'm going to miss the sound of his tools and gospel music out on my patio, but I'm sure I'll find other work to keep Willie busy around here. My wife and I recently bought a house and we were looking for floor installer to give a new modern rustic look for the 15-year-old house. We chose Andy and his assistant/wife Aida for the job and they have been a blast! Below I will list some pro and con based on my own but true experience. Scope of the project: 1. 2,800 sqft old floors removal, 2. Level up the subfloor by adding plywood underlayment 3. Glue down 1/2" engineered floors Pro: 1. Quality: Andy's work is top notch, he and his team removed all carpet and floors in just one day and left no dirt or debris. When he's working on nailing down plywood or gluing down floors, he is very focused, tactful, and fast. He makes sure long beautiful plank lied own in the middle of a room and hides discolored floors on side near walls. 2. Price: Andy's price is very reasonable. He wouldn't mind to work with you on his pricing to make sure both parties are aligned. So even his quote isn't the best, please do communicate with him and he certainly will work with you. 3. Punctuality: By far, Andy is the only one who keeps showing up on time and finish each part of the project in the timeline as he promised. 4. Communication: Andy speaks more English than you thought. Besides, you can always speak to his wife Aida for more clarification. 5. Work ethics/professionalism: I think Andy takes great pride of his work. And he wouldn't cut corners for short-term gain and put his long-term flooring career in jeopardy. One example I've experienced, when Andy was nailing down the plywood, he used more than needed number of screws to stabilize the plywood and repeatedly step on them to make sure no squeaks. Knowing we had other contractors to work in the house simultaneously, Andy put down paper to cover all floor area as a protection. 6. Personality: Unlike a lot of contractors, Andy always puts a smile and his face and listens to what you want and how to achieve it. Con or area for improvements: Please fix the logo on your truck. I don't think I would like the mis-spelled last name from "Valles" to "Vallez"!

Jairo was very professional & punctual. We had a chandelier that we needed to put in our foyer & he did an exceptional job . His work is very neat & he left everything super clean . I would definitely reccomend him for any job in your home . From the pictures you can see he has great quality work and reasonable prices .

Penny Construction was very professional and extremely cordial to my 73 yr old mom. I have used Thumb Tack before my own home and was very pleased with the quality of work. When my mom who lives 100 miles away needed a new deck and some rock work on her home.I went to thumbtack and Kevin Penny immediately answered and set up a time for an estimate that was within my moms budget. Even with me being 100 miles away Kevin kept me updated on the progress ,by phone text and pictures of the job. My Mom and myself love the deck . Mr. Penny took awesome care of my mom and informed her of everything that was needed and was just plain nice and respectful. I would recommend Penny Construction for any needs you may have. Excellent work excellent gentleman and company.

He's a multi talented trustworthy guy with great work ethics! He'd very fair with his prices. I will definitely use him for my many home projects.

They were very quick, it took 3 hours to move my stuff from my home. My complaints are that they were about an hour late showing up and I wish they were alittle more organized when unloading my items.

No detail left unfinished! You can really tell he takes pride in his craft. I would hire him again and again. 4 days and 2 bathrooms later, I'm so glad we made the decision to hire Elisha, and that he took on our project.

Jarrod was extremely professional, came on time, and did an excellent job on my living room. He also worked quickly and cleaned up well. I will absolutely call him for future upcoming projects in my home.

Our experience overall with this company was outstanding! The contractor was on time with his estimate did not overcharge and actually was way more professional than any other company I have had to deal with in the past for my other projects. The finishing is impressive and the respect that they have for you is what makes me want to recommend them to anyone else! I will definitely use McCown Family Works again!
