Ashli was the painting artist of my school's Painting Our Paths Mother Daughter Banquet. She was absolutely amazing! My students, parents, and staff were very pleased with their Dip N Dab experience. I am definitely using her services for my next event!
Makeba Yikealo, is a superb individual with a keen eye for detail. As an instructor she is very diversified in teaching methods, instructions, and detail. Ms. Yikealo, vision and passion goes beyond her capabilities for she demonstrates supremely her skills and talents in whatever capacity it is needed in. I known Ms. Yikealo for several years, as an instructor, employer and a friend. What impressed me about Ms. Yikealo is her committment to excellence that she finds in each individual she works with or comes into contact with; Ms. Yikealo, will, can and does bring out the best in you; even when you think it is not there she finds it and draws it out of you with complete confidence. Ms. Yikealo professionalism stands out in everything she does, her attitude is spectacular, her experience and knowledge and determination to overcome any obstacle in her path. Everybody needs improvement and I am sure Ms. Yikealo does as well but I cannot find any that she may need to improve on at this moment. I would like to see Ms. Yikealo, success go worldwide and reach beyond the realms of the USA. There success is more than a number it is a headliner.

I have have the pleasure of taking pastel classes with Karen Margulis. She has a background in fine art, teaching and is passionate about Pastels as shown in her commitment to the medium. What I love most about Karen besides how nice she is, is that she is so giving of everything she has learned about Pastels. I know she reads many pastel book, goes to shows, and takes part in many workshops by some of the top Pastel Artists in the country. She shares all she learns and you get the best of all her investment and time she spent in learning. I have personally grown so much as an artist and have come so far in my skill set with Karen. I was always a good artist but after only a few classes she taught me so many things about color theory and value and how it can make such a difference in your painting. I have become a better artist because of her. If you are looking to take some classes, I highly recommend Karen's classes. You won't be sorry.
Veronica helped me with creating a pattern for an outfit. She offered some tips and pearls that I found to be invaluable. She is a very skillful sewist and teacher and we got a lot done in the two hour class I signed up for. . My experience was a very pleasant one!
Susanna Green is a soon to be discovered master of her craft. She is all too modest about her boundless talent. My partner and I are proud to own three of her paintings, two watercolors and an incredible mixed media that I absolutely adore. The aesthetic of her body of work is both refined and compelling, and the commissioned piece she created for a friend and coworker recently is phenomenal. I hope to acquire more by this talented artist. Remember her name, I won't be surprised if you see it in galleries someday.
My son took group art lessons with Katerina for nearly four years. Katerina brought a warm-heartedness, professionalism and dedication that surpassed all expectations. Not only did I see my son's artistic talents grow, from drawing to sculpture, but I sincerely doubt he would have progressed as successfully as he did without Katerina's creativity and motivation. She remains a shining star. I fully recommend and endorse her in her endeavors and teaching in the arts from music to drama to art.
I offer one-on-one personal coaching on the potter's wheel, which is a real plus when learning the pottery wheel. We have a lot of fun! I have a home-based studio in Roswell (actually East Cobb) at the intersection of Johnson Ferry Rd. and Shallowford Rd. (there is a Google map on my website, where you can get exact directions from your location). I have classes weekdays, Monday to Friday, anytime between 9 a.m. through approx. 2:00 p.m.; sometimes, evenings from 7:30 to 9:30, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, between 12 noon to 6 p.m. in 2-hour blocks. We can schedule for the same day each week, or vary according to our schedules. I am quite flexible. My classes usually last approximately 2 hours. I teach everything from the wheel to hand-building, to setting up your own studio, if that ever becomes of interest. I charge per session. If you pay each time you come, I charge $45 per session (per person). If you purchase a series of 5 or more sessions at one time, I'll drop the fee to $35 per session per person (5 for $175). There is a separate materials fee of $35, which includes 25 pounds of clay (which will last 5 or more sessions, and can be shared with your friend, if you like). I find working in clay very relaxing and rewarding. I hope you decide to give this a try. If you have any questions I haven't covered, please feel free to give me a call. I look forward to hearing back from you.
