Love this place! I was scared walking in the first time because I couldn't draw a stick man! Makeba made painting so much fun for me that I've been to Seven Arts Center twice and plan to get another group together soon! If you feel you can't paint, put that out of your mind! Visit Seven Arts Center and see for yourself how well you will do and have fun doing it!

Leslie painted a beautiful mural in our front entryway at Medlock Bridge Elementary School. She came up with the drawing just from a few remarks of what we were looking for and it was perfect. She had to work through our summer hours, sometimes without air conditioning and never complained. Leslie was always professional, on time and completed the job quickly. I enjoyed working with Leslie, she does great work and I would recommend her and use her services again. Thank you Leslie for a job well done, all our students, staff and community love the mural.

Donna is an excellent teacher. She met me at the store and helped me with what I needed to buy to start painting. Then we went for the first lesson. She did a great job explaining the mixing of the paints and how to apply on the canvas. Her instruction was very helpful as well.

I've been attending drawing classes at MB Academy for the past 8 weeks. Besides being a knowledgeable and patient teacher, Minnie works with each student to help achieve his/her individual goal. The small class size definitely helps with personalised attention. I'm excited about applying the skills I've learnt at the academy into my landscape paintings!

Susanna Green is a soon to be discovered master of her craft. She is all too modest about her boundless talent. My partner and I are proud to own three of her paintings, two watercolors and an incredible mixed media that I absolutely adore. The aesthetic of her body of work is both refined and compelling, and the commissioned piece she created for a friend and coworker recently is phenomenal. I hope to acquire more by this talented artist. Remember her name, I won't be surprised if you see it in galleries someday.

Artesia is a great teacher! My eight year old had a one hour sewing lesson with her and learned so much. Artesia is knowledgable, professional, encouraging and fun. I highly recommend her!

My son took group art lessons with Katerina for nearly four years. Katerina brought a warm-heartedness, professionalism and dedication that surpassed all expectations. Not only did I see my son's artistic talents grow, from drawing to sculpture, but I sincerely doubt he would have progressed as successfully as he did without Katerina's creativity and motivation. She remains a shining star. I fully recommend and endorse her in her endeavors and teaching in the arts from music to drama to art.

About

I've been playing guitar for 15 years and teaching for a few. I can take the absolute beginner and teach him or her to become proficient at an intermediate level. I studied music theory and composition at UC Berkeley for one year and can take a theoretical approach for the serious student. If you only want to be able to play along to your favorite songs, that's fine. I will tailor the curriculum to the needs of the student.

About

I am a visual artist, framer, and educator. I am willing to share my knowledge and experience of materials, techniques, and art history. I know drawing, painting, mixed media, and ceramics.

About

I am a student at GA State majoring in graphic design. I am most talented with pencil, markers, charcoal, and ink. I also do well with digital art using programs such as Sketchbook Pro, ArtRage, etc. I will make it enjoyable because drawing is fun and creative. I will teach whatever the student artist wants to learn to draw, but I will also implement drawing techniques and assignments to reinforce those. Aside from tutoring, I can also create flyers/posters, etc. for businesses, events or freelance workers who need advertising. I have created several event flyers for school club events such as dances, fundraisers, etc. I also do invitations for weddings, birthdays or any kind of get-together/party. I love designing invitations to make them personalized to whoever it is for. For invitations, I like to get an idea of what you're looking for, color themes, etc. to make it perfect for you! I give reasonable pricing and am very understanding, so negotiation is never completely off the table.
