Mr. Burbage designed, prefabricated to the extent possible, and installed multiple projects for us. Those items included 2 Adirondack chairs and side table both beautiful and comfortable! He also designed and built a round-bottom swing and swing stand for a specific location at our home. Again beautiful and comfortable! Then he designed and built us an arbor which also serves as an entry to a rose garden. We provided some examples and Mr. Burbage designed an arbor to satisfy the need in our garden functionally and within the space limitations. In addition to accommodating our initial design thoughts, he made some significant enhancements in the appearance. The arbor truly exceeded our expectations! Lastly, since the arbor fit in the garden area so well, we decided to replace an existing fence with one built by Mr. Burbage. Again, he designed us a 30-inch decorative and functional fence. The location of this fence presented Mr. Burbage with some challenges such as elevation and direction changes that Mr. Burbage accommodated very well! The fence blends into the garden very well and again exceeded our expectations. His craftsmanship was excellent! We have known Mr. Burbage for a long time professionally but were very pleased to be able to work with him on these personal projects for our home. In addition, we were in a time crunch for the fence and arbor and he worked through any schedule conflicts to meet our timeline. We would never hesitate to contact him for any future project! Lastly, he is very honest and dependable and we did not think twice about allowing him to work at our residence with no one home. All projects went well and there are no complaints about any aspect of the product or Mr. Burbage's performance! He also befriended our dogs and never complained about their "help" in his work! :-)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud of all my completed projects but the one that I am most proud of is a 12' x 36' deck 8 to 10' off the ground with a screened in porch on have the deck. The homeowner did not want the standard deck with the deck boards running parallel to the house he want them perpendicular to the house, which made framing tricky.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get references and if possible look at past work.
