I just received Sara's notes and complete edit for my fantasy novel. She's thorough and insightful. It's apparent to me that she loves writing and writers. Her years of experience with writing makes her a solid editor.
I had a manuscript that I worked on for years. I posted it on Amazon.com, but it didn't get purchased often, and I edited it myself - which is likely why it didn't sell. Members of the Amazon author forums told me that i had a lot of passive voice problems throughout the manuscript. I also broke a writing rule of show-don't-tell. Yeah, I would tell, not show. I really wanted my manuscript to sell. Plus, the manuscript was about 186,000 words. So, I got in touch with Matt in Mid-December 2014. He said he'd edit my work, and he did it in around 10 days. He fixed the passive voice, show-don't tell problems I had. He also cut tens-of-thousands of unnecessary words. Another thing he did was he also took quick action scenes and trimmed them, thus making them more concise, easier and more entertaining to read. Some were also re-written, while keeping the spirit of what i originally wrote. He also told me if things didn't make sense to the storyline. I cannot express my thanks enough to him for having taken Project Timeline and editing it. It really is a different book. If you people want quality editing, you should hire him. Unlike a lot of other editors I talked with, Matt knows what he's doing.
Braden is a homemade bomb of creativity. Whatever materials he's handed, he works deliberately and passionately to make them boom. That's not to mean he's careless, but the opposite: I've worked with Braden on writing projects ranging from PR articles to poetry to full-length fiction manuscripts, and he is consistently attentive to detail, humble, and adroit.
We've reached out to Mama I Want to Write on a few occasions to do some writing for our site and contracts with our clients. It was great the way they took the minimal information we provided on a project and turned it into a great read! We also enjoyed the way they created a timeline to make sure you're on schedule for any deadlines. After competition, it was great to receive a call from the CEO, Ebonee to do a follow-up! We have and will continue to use the services from her company! We would highly recommend her!
Salina is a great writer and editor. I own a web development company and we have used Salina's services several times to write and edit content for our clients. She has also helped with our blog and press releases for various products and promotions. Salina has been very efficient for our business. Her fast turnaround time and ability to return excellent content with limited direction from us makes her our go to person every time.
One of the best experiences I have had with a writer and editor. Gwendolyn, listened to my heart and was very patience with my demands for my project. I highly recommend her to anyone who is in search of an editor or writer.
I had a wonderful experience with Richard. He was very flexible and easy to work with! He made my writing project so simple! I can only highly recommend him to everyone! Very professional and quick!
Josh is very creative and responsive to my business goals as it relates to website development and social media applications.
I've used Dyci Mann's services before for editing and proofreading for my cover letter and resume when I was looking for a job and also for occasional line editing for written material and I have to say it's been the best esperience thus far. She has great ability and very crisp and precise skills. Her edits made an impactful difference on my documents!
Dr. Simmons is a phenomenal academic editor. Excellent editing is more than simply having mastered the syntactical and grammatical rules of the English language. The ideal academic editor also possesses a wide breadth of knowledge that will enable her to engage the intellectual aspect of the manuscript, too. This type of editing skill is intuitive, it is a gift. People often think that having a PhD in English means I can edit my own work. I am sure my final drafts do indeed look better than the average writer, but professional editing skills are not inherent in earning an English PhD. I found this to be true after sending an article to Dr. Simmons Autumn 2012. Since then, all of my academic writing has been sent to her for the polishing and intellectual engagement that I, myself, can produce in limited capacity. I highly recommend the services of Dr. Simmons for academic editing in English literature, history, ethnic and cultural studies, gender and sexuality studies, popular culture, and rhetoric and composition.
I had the privilege of using Ms. Wrights skills upon the editing of my book, Belief Beyond. Years passed until its completion due to the compromised integrity of the manuscript causing a rewrite twice from a recorded version of the original, which was due to previously hired editors. Unaware of the degree of Ms. Wrights portfolio of talent, I hired her on as yet another editor. Neither my time nor hers was wasted. The quality of her work was outstanding. Its very rare in this day and age to get above and beyond what is paid for. The writing/editing work was completed and my book was published in a timely manner. The integrity of her work, attention to detail, and the enrichment of dialogue were all attributes of her professionalism. I paid for grammar and punctuation proofing; the rest was a gift. The talents of Ms. Wright are not taught nor can one learn them, especially to the degree she possesses. The overall flavor and underlying ambience is the polish a writer looks for in an editor but very few have a natural gift of words to create such. I know because I used several different editors over the years who put my work through a meat grinder! Ms. Wright unknowingly encountered this mess yet still was able to put my book together seamlessly. The foundation was brought out more clearly as to the authenticity of each story as well as references and credits solidifying the work. I recommend highly you not let the light of this diamond in the rough go unnoticed. She would by all means be a great asset to your work as she was to mine! Sincerely, Nancy Elbon
I have worked with Greta for almost 3 years. In that time, I have found her writing skills to be outstanding! I have asked her many times to proofread documents which have gone forward for report submission narratives. Greta is a great writer/editor whom I often look to when I need a second set of eyes.

Clear Communication is important in relaying information to others. The best ideas are meaningless if your audience cannot understand them, or worse, give up before you can fully explain it to them. This is where I come in! -webpage proofreading: including spelling, grammar, and punctuation. -editing foreign web copy in English to remove awkward phrasing. -limited HTML editing. Ask yourself this. Why should your audience listen to your smart idea if the message comes across as uneducated? Many websites contain copy errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation because they are quickly created and posted without being proofread first. Foreign websites are often mistranslated, making for awkward reading. I help to rephrase awkward sentences, making them easy to understand. Because most people are not web developers, syntax errors often pop up on your web pages, distracting your audience from your true message. I can help to resolve these issues, insuring your web pages display only what you want it to.
My experience and imagination, plus my ability to maintain the desires of the client allow me to create the exact feel and result desired by that client.

I am a versatile writer with superb proficiency in grammar.

I am an Atlanta-based editor. I have a critical eye and have been working in post-production since I took over my college hockey team's videography. I have also been volunteering as editor for a sports blog for the last year.

I've been freelancing since 1994, and am fluent in all of the Adobe Creative Suite applications, but besides that, I've been in your shoes. I've hired out work to graphic designers, artists, and web designers. I understand the needs of a project from both sides of the equation: customer and designer, so I can help you outline your project well.
I strive to do more than edit or proofread documents. Instead I engage my client's work with the goal of ensuring what they wish to communicate to their audience is both clear and consistent. This means I try to work closely with authors, providing feedback on not only grammar and punctuation, but also word choice, style, and presentation.
