- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rather than an hourly rate, I quote a flat rate per song package that starts at $250. Half is due at the start of tracking, and the balance is due upon acceptance of final mix. Among the services included in my flat rate quote but not limited to are: Recording/tracking Editing Vocal tuning Mixing (3 recalls) Mastering (3 recalls) For an additional fee, I can create the track or the instrumentation for your project as well. And for no charge, I can even help you with the distribution as well as the monetization of your music.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
With over 15 years in the music industry as former lead guitarist/songwriter/and co-producer in the rock group zebrahead, studio owner, Greg Bergdorf, has recorded nine major label albums, received three Japanese gold records (Playmate of the Year, MFZB, Broadcast to the World), and a Grammy nomination in 2000 (Best Metal Performance for "Enter Sandman" with Motorhead). He is a touring veteran having participated in three Warped Tours, as well as tours with Green Day, 311, Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup, Reel Big Fish, Cypress Hill, Black Eyed Peas, De La Soul, Goldfinger, and MxPx. He has also played hundreds of shows and festivals across Europe (including Hurricane, Greenfield, Southside, Pukklepop, Grozerock, Rock am Park, and Rock am Ring), the UK (Download, Reading, Leeds, Sonisphere) and Japan (Summer Sonic, Punkspring, and Fuji Rock). As well as being an accomplished musician, Greg also works as a producer/engineer. He has co-produced/co-engineered several of zebrahead's albums (Broadcast to the World, Phoenix, Panty Raid, and Get Nice). And, he produced and engineered the UK band Fandagle's independent album "Fly Away". Much of what he learned in the studio can be attributed to working with some of the best producers in the industry like Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, All American Rejects, POD), Cameron Webb (Motorhead, Social Distortion, Pennywise), Mike Plotnikoff (Buckcherry, Van Halen, Aerosmith, KISS) and Marshall Altman (Natasha Bedingfield, Marc Broussard). He enjoys helping artists/bands craft their songs in order to achieve their artistic vision.
