Introduction: I have helped many students rapidly increase their scores on The ACT. With the right amount of practice, anyone can improve on this test; however, you do not want to rush. Twice per week tutoring for at least 3 months is strongly recommended for solid improvement. I ONLY tutor for the ACT and mathematics, so the sessions are very focused. I supplement each of my tutoring sessions with the most recent official ACT tests. I love helping my students get into the colleges of their dreams, and acing this test dramatically improves the chances of acceptance. Depending on the school, thousands of dollars can be saved in scholarship money simply by earning a certain score on The ACT. The money spent on tutoring is minimal when compared to the reciprocal benefits.

Nicky was really amazing! I have a kiddo that is smart but does not apply himself. We told Nicky this since were very afraid of throwing money into something and not seeing a return. Our son actually became motivated after his sessions and did the work. This in itself was a first! Our son need to pull his score up a minimum of 2 points which we were told by Nicky may be hard since we only had 3 weeks... He raised it 5 points!!! We were blown away. While this is not totally normal, we do believe it was the way Nicky worked with our son. He also worked very well with us, communicating and keeping us informed. Honestly if I could get my kid to take it again, I would hire him all over !!!! Highly recommend!

I started using Nick for the psat in August 2019 of my Junior year. At the same time, I was beginning my school volleyball season. My schedule was very inconsistent, and I would often meet with Nick at 9-10 pm. He was very accommodating to my schedule and always made time for my tutoring. After 2 months of tutoring, my 1220 psat score had increased by 130 points from my previous test score. In January 2020, I continued to use Nick to start preparing for the ACT. Following 2 months of tutoring with Nick, I scored a 27 on my first ACT test score. Due to Covid-19, all of my test dates were cancelled, and I could not take another test until September. Although he graduated college and started a new job, he continued to meet with me every week for 7 months until my September 2020 test. I did not use any other ACT reviews or material to prepare for the test. After Nick's amazing tutoring, my test score increased by six points to a 33 ACT test score. He was always very organized, professional, and dedicated to my success. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for ACT preparation.

I contacted Nick back in January to start ACT prep, and had never taken the test before. My first scores were 25 English, 26 Math, 31 Reading, and 32 science (29 composite). By the end (June Act), I ended up with a 35 English, 30 Math, 36 Science, and 32 Reading (33 composite and 34 superscore from the April Act I took and received a 35 reading). Overall, I improved 4 points on my composite score, and I was extremely grateful for Nick’s amazing help! He was very attentive and accommodating while also explaining every concept in detail and knowledge. We worked one time weekly, and he always showed up on time ready to work. I would never have improved my scores this drastically without his assistance, and I highly recommend if you are looking for an increase in score.

Cash or check is preferred for in-person tutoring. For online tutoring, I accept Venmo or PayPal. Venmo is preferred.

I am a senior at the University of California Berkeley with a double major in Data Science and Operations Research and Management Science (ORMS). I also worked at Kumon Learning Center for 3 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After scoring a 34 on the ACT and a 750 on the Sat Math 2 Subject test, I felt compelled to help my peers succeed as well.
