I searched for a while before finding Train at Home Atlanta. I wasn't looking for a boot camp or a powderpuff experience. I wanted solid, evidence-based strategies and not the latest fad. Train at Home Atlanta delivered. Every session was new and fresh. I did things I never knew I could do like boxing and yoga. The trainers are knowledgeable not only about the workout, but also about the mind-body connection. I learned stress busting strategies, talked about no-nonsense nutrition and was even encouraged to try therapeutic massage as well as a kinesiology program to help me move better. Train at Home Atlanta is the whole package and you'll leave each session feeling like you can accomplish anything.
Teresa is amazing. I have had a few yoga instructors but none compare to Teresa. She is incredibly perceptive, she knows her anatomy and how stress, both physical and emotional, damage the body and mind. She is an expert at correcting posture, dealing with injuries, and creating awareness. I highly recommend her without reservation!
Where to begin? Of course I said yes to all of the above in response to my positive experience with Jillian and True Compass Yoga, and I want to add on a deeper, more personal level what having Jillian as my yoga teacher/ instructor meant to me. Speaking of the technical aspects of learning postures, mudras and asanas Jillian is an excellent teacher. She also brings compassion, grace and an open heart into the experience and I always left her classes feeling joyful, light and full of gratitude. Namaste
Kelly is an amazing yoga teacher. I have a history of back and spine problems and she personalized her teaching for me to help strengthen my back without causing any pain. She guided me through specific postures to lengthen and strengthen my back and core, as well as stretches to relieve tension. I always feel amazing after practicing with her and highly recommend her to anyone looking to enjoy the amazing benefits of yoga, beginners and beyond. She is very knowledgeable and kind and I love practicing with her.
The "therapy" in Yoga Therapy is resonating with me after the Tuesday class taught by Beth Novian Hughes at the Healing Arts Center in Rome. It was exactly what my body needed.
Becca is someone that you can rely on. From our first class we created a plan. I am reaching my goals, and I've lost weight. I had done yoga before, but Becca's approach is unique. I recommend her to everyone!

Specializing in Yoga Therapy sets Yoga a part from traditional talk therapy. I feel that in order to change ones life and create a new openings to come into your life you need to connect the mind and the body. For instance Meditation is healing, when you quiet the mind of all the negative and all the things that you are not then you start to allow new openings and energy to come into your life.Clearing space to fully see your potential is major shift. Once the mind is clear then the body can relax and allow for emotionally stability. The mind shifts and the body shifts to one complete connection. Now you can breath, think clearly, stand strong, make concise decisions. The breath in Yoga allows for movement and standing strong in postures while you breath. Breathing through tough postures allows to cease anything negative and bring into you power that you can do it. Be strong be powerful.
Imparts training traditional yoga asanas and meditation techniques which helps in improving health and discipline with good health habits.

I have taught over 4,000 hours of yoga and hold an E-RYT 500 certification through the yoga alliance and have served as a mentor and educator for over ten yoga alliance recognized 200-hour certification courses, so I have assisted the certification of over 200 yoga teachers in the Atlanta area.
