I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Chef Toni. I recently travelled to Georgia (by way of the West Coast) to visit some girlfriends. As a special treat to ourselves, we decided to have Chef Toni come and cook us dinner. We were referred to her by a friend who she had just taught a cooking class to the week before, and boy are we glad we were!
Let me just say that Toni’s warmth and talent are truly unmatched. We had asked for a chicken dish as a main course, and were open to her suggestion. Upon further discussion, Toni created a wonderful three course menu for us. The main course being Chicken Francese!
Toni proposed a fresh Caprese salad to start, which was followed by our main dish, the Chicken Francese! This lemony dish was served over a bed of quinoa and brown rice, and let’s just say ... I licked my plate clean. To finish, was a Georgia staple .. Peach Pie!! I love that she tied in a southern element to the menu (as I’m not as lucky to have such delicious peaches over in California)! I wish I had gotten a photo of the pie, but admittedly, we started digging right in the second the pie was cooled 😳.
From start to finish, we were not only salivating over the sensational smells that we’re coming from the kitchen, but smiling from ear to ear at Toni’s humor, heart, and most of all her undeniable talent.
My only regret is that I don’t live closer so I could have the treat that is Chef Toni all the time!! However, I can now look forward to our new tradition, dinner by Chef Toni. I’m already planning my next trip back!!
