Introduction: I care about my clients. I have over 20 years experience as a mediator and family law attorney. Also, I handle family sponsored immigration matters. I will work tirelessly to get my immigration clients legal status in the US. I have practiced immigration law for over 20 years as well. I begin this practice while I was an attorney for Georgia Institute of Technology for 5 years beginning in 1994. When I left to go into private practice, I wanted to continue the practice of immigration law because I see it as a win-win for all concerned. If you can assist just one person with obtaining legal status, you are really helping their entire family. Really all Americans all came here from some other country!! Only the Native Americans were here first. I believe in immigration because I believe in the American dream and its promise! When I am successful in preparing and processing petitions for my clients with USCIS approval, I have successfully changed the trajectory of their life for the better. I love this fact. This also means that their immediate and extended family has also received a life changing benefit as well. Once just one person is in the U.S. legally he or she can begin to sponsor other family members who will then be able to sponsor their immediately family members as well. Although the process can take years, it is worth the time and effort in the long run. I have successfully petitioned for permanent residency and related legal matters for my clients since 1996.

Immigration Attorney

I was very impressed with just the first email. She was completely clear and knowledgeable regarding immigration for my husband. After speaking to several lawyers her abilities just stood out. When I spoke to her, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. I would highly recommend Ms. Wiggins for her services. Thank you Vickie!!

Family Law Attorney

Vickie is amazing! I was lost in a lot of paperwork in a civil case with an abusive ex and needed help ASAP. Her Response was quick, her pricing is fair, she’s very knowledgeable and taught me a few things that brought immediate relief. She also took the time out to check on me just to see how I was doing. I can’t compare her to any other lawyers, she’s the best!

Attorney Wiggins handled two civil cases for me. She was incredibly professional, answered all my questions and made everything extremely easy for me. For the first case, she prepped me for court, appeared with me in court and had the charges completely dismissed. For the second case, she again prepped me for court and appeared with me in court. She had me plead nolo and had my ticket costs reduced. In both cases, she clearly explained everything she was going to do and what was going to happen. I felt at ease knowing she had everything covered. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family and have referred a number of people to her already. She is an exceptional attorney and really works hard for her clients.

Vickie Wiggins

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Immigration Cases: I charge flat rates so that my clients know what to expect. No surprises. I provide a breakdown of the steps that will lead to resolution of their immigration issue or matter. If the fee is paid in full rather than in 2 or 3 payments I offer a 10% discount. Family Law Cases: I charge a flat rate and provide a checklist of documents needed to complete the process quickly and efficiently. Mediation Cases: I typically charge $150 to $250 per hour for mediation services, depending on the complexity of the divorce issues. This fee is split equally between the parties, unless the parties agree otherwise.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I use intake forms and online forms to make initial contact and to set appointments for immigration and family law cases. When I am acting as a mediator, because of neutrality, I try not to speak with the parties prior to mediation. I instead send all service agreement information and contracts to the parties jointly prior to conducting the mediation.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an undergraduate degree in Biology and a graduate degree in education and I have been a family law attorney since 2000. I have extensive experience mediating divorces and child custody matters since becoming a registered mediator with Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution in 2009.
